Chapter 16

“We think Tom likes you,” Danny told him, smiling.

“Tom is a Dom, right?” Robbie’s face scrunched up.

“Yeah, Tom’s a Dom.” Danny looked at Robbie with a question in his eyes.

“But I’m not a sub.” Robbie looked down at his plate. “Does that make a difference? I mean, will they stop liking me?” He didn’t meet Danny’s eyes.

“Look at me.” Danny took hold of Robbie’s chin. “It doesn’t matter. Not a bit. But don’t close yourself off to the idea. Being a sub is a different experience for everyone and I know Tom’s not into pain. I played with him once or twice before Gary offered me a contract. What he’s into is rather different. Go to the club and watch the subs and see what you think.” Danny took the drained teacup from Robbie and placed it on the tray.

“I’ll try to keep an open mind but I want to control my own life now that I finally can.”
