“Because Caden says he looks like a dust mop.”
Having heard the story of Pesto earlier in the day, Robbie just nodded his head and kept his mouth shut. Soon he couldn’t keep his eyes open and fell asleep, with Brian mid-story.

Bear came back around three. “I think I talked him to sleep,” Brian said. “He’s been out about two hours. Unfortunately, the nurse is going to come in to take his blood pressure and vitals in about an hour and he’s due another breathing treatment. I hope Master Martino gets the goods on that aunt and uncle of his, Papa, some people are too evil to live.”
“Do you think he’s a sub?” Bear asked. “Caden said Johnny thought he seemed very curious but afraid of pain.” Bear looked interested in the answer.
