Lila's POV.

/"I'm on my way,/" Amari burst through the link.

/"But you don't know where I am?/" I puzzled.

/"I may have made your brother mad./" She cackled.

/"You woke him up?/" I grinned to myself as I could imagine his face as she pounded on the door.

Amari lives in the packhouse with her mate, James. They're both warriors. James joined us after he'd completed the course at KS Training Centre. I trained Amari, even though she didn't need much training. She needed to learn to channel her power from the Dark Wolf. Once she had done that, she was unstoppable.

/"Woke him up, no... Disturbed him, yes./" She guffawed.

I chuckled and shook my head.

/"I'm in your back garden... I think./"

I stood up and went towards the door. I slid the door open before slipping outside. The cold air felt amazing. I inhaled and sighed. The smell of nature filled my senses; an instant calmness washed over me.
