Surveillance??

Maximo: *"Ahahaha! Too bad for you. I just remembered there's a camera in this room."*

Laura frowns.

Maximo: *"Let's go to the surveillance room."*

Laura: *"I don't think that's a good idea. We can just leave things as they are."*

Maximo: *"What do you mean? After stressing me out, you can't pull any more strings. Try anything stupid again, and you'll be arrested."*

Laura: *"Okay, I'm sorry. Can we just let it go?"*

Maximo: *"You humiliated me at one of my workplaces, and now here too. 'No' isn't an option. Now, move."*

At this point, Vincent arrives, having already reached his room and seeing Laura and Maximo.

Vincent: *"Sir, don't worry, I'll handle it from here. Laura, out this minute."*

Maximo stops him, explaining what he wants to do, and asks Vincent to tag along.

Laura: *"Are you sure, Maximo? Please don't do this."*

Maximo: *"Shut up and move."*

They all walk to the surveillance room. Maximo searches for the footage from that night and plays it.

**Clip Playing: 02/05/22 (Night)**

**Maximo enters his house, looking very drunk.**

Laura: *"Sir, are you okay?"*

Maximo: *"Get out of my sight, you brat."*

Maximo staggers and falls. Laura decides to help him up.

Laura: *"Sir, at least let me help you to your room."*

Maximo: *"No, leave me... (he passes out)."*

Laura: *"What did you drink this time?"*

She helps him to his room, removes his shoes, and starts taking off his shirt.

**(Current Maximo: "I'm sure this is where you did it." Laura remains silent.)**

She pulls off his shirt and goes for his trousers. **(Current Maximo: "I knew it.")** Once he's down to his boxers, she lays him on the bed and leaves the room.

**Current Maximo looks shocked as the memory returns.**

**The scene changes: Laura's room, later that night.**

*Knock, knock.*

Laura opens the door.

Laura: *"Oh, Sir, it's you. Do you need something?"*

Maximo: *"Yes... I want some milk."*

Laura: *"Okay, I'll get it for you."*

Maximo: *"Not that milk."*

Laura: *"Which milk, Sir?"*

Maximo: *"Let me show you."*

Maximo forces the door open, grabs Laura, and pushes her onto the bed. He tears off her nightgown, leaving her naked.

Maximo: *"This is the milk I want."*

He begins to pleasure himself, licking and pressing against her.

Laura: *"Sir, what are you doing? Please stop!"*

**Back to the Present.**

**Current Maximo turns off the recording.**

Laura: *"What's wrong, Maximo? The fun part was just about to start."*

Maximo, visibly shaken, stares at her in disbelief as she smiles back at him. He grabs her by the shoulders and pushes her against the wall.

Maximo: *"You knew this would happen. Why did you pretend?"*

Laura laughs.

Laura: *"I just wanted to see the look on your face afterward."*

Maximo: *"You tricked me into watching this."*

Laura: *"And don't forget about Vincent."*

Maximo turns to find Vincent standing in shock. Furious, he raises his hand to slap Laura, but Vincent grabs his arm.

Maximo: *"What are you doing? Are you insane?"*

Vincent: *"With all due respect, Sir, this isn't wise. Besides, she's pregnant with your child. We're lucky she hasn't gone to the press. Trust me on this."*

Maximo takes a deep breath, calms down, and storms out, slamming the door behind him.

Laura: *"You're smarter than I thought. He's lucky to have you, or he'd be in jail by now."*

Vincent says nothing as Laura leaves the building.

**The Next Day - Sunday**

Laura arrives at the building with a large bag.

Vincent: *"What is this?"*

Laura: *"I'm carrying his child. What did you expect?"*

Laura (shouting): *"Honey, I'm home!"*

Vincent: *"Can't you let him rest? He's had a rough day after yesterday."*

Laura: *"And I, who's carrying his child, don't deserve peace? Is that what you're saying?"*

Vincent: *"That's not what I meant."*

Laura: *"Hmm, just go tell Maximo I'm here to move back in."*

Vincent: *"If that's what you want, fine. But you won't be staying."*

Vincent goes to Maximo's room.

Vincent: *"Maximo, Laura's here."*

Maximo: *"Why?"*

Vincent: *"She says she's moving back in."*

Maximo: *"That's absurd. Just because she's pregnant doesn't mean she's moving in."*

Maximo: *"Give me a moment. I'll meet you both at the gate."*

**40 minutes later.**

Laura: *"Finally, you show up."*

Maximo: *"What do you want?"*

Laura: *"Judging by my bag, it's obvious. I'm moving back in."*

Maximo: *"You're not working here anymore. I've already replaced you."*

Laura laughs.

Laura: *"I'm not coming back to work. I'm here because I'm carrying your child."*

Maximo: *"I still don't believe it's mine."*

Maximo turns to Vincent.

Maximo: *"Let's go inside. I need a drink."*

**Later that night.**

Vincent returns to his post and finds Laura still outside.

Vincent: *"She's still here."*

Maximo: *"She'll leave eventually. Don't let her in."*

Vincent: *"But it's raining now."*

Maximo: *"Let the rain drive her away. That's my order."*

Time passes, and the storm worsens. Vincent tells Maximo Laura is still outside in the storm. Maximo, guilt gnawing at him, runs out without an umbrella. He opens the gate to find Laura shivering in pain.

Laura (shivering): *"You came... I knew you wouldn't leave me."*

Maximo: *"Shut up and stand up."*

Laura: *"I... can't stand."*

Maximo, soaking wet, sighs and picks her up in his arms, carrying her inside like a newborn. He lays her on a sofa in one of the living rooms.

Maximo: *"You talk too much. Now, keep quiet."*

He leaves but returns with a towel.

Maximo: *"Take this. Go freshen up. Use hot water since you're cold."*

Laura: *"Really?"* she says sarcastically.

Maximo: *"I told you to be quiet. Your room is still available for tonight. Tomorrow, I'll give you money, and we'll go to the doctor to confirm if that child is mine."*

Laura says nothing, taking the towel to go bathe. Maximo goes to his bathroom as well.

**Two Days Later**

Maximo and Laura visit the doctor for the paternity test.

Doctor: *"We've taken the necessary samples. The results will be ready in two to three weeks. We'll contact you both when they're out."*

Afterward, Maximo gives Laura more money for the next few weeks, telling her to wait until the results come out.

Both Maximo and Laura receive a call.

Doctor: *"Good morning. The test results are ready."*
