The Date

The restaurant was a well-lit building with very nice decors. She marveled at the way the chairs and the tables were arranged as well as their design. She could see that he was waiting for her to get here. He seemed excited too, she surmised in her head as she smiled at him. 

This almost felt like a dream that she had had for far too long. She could not exactly remember the number of nights that she had stayed awake, letting the thoughts of why he was choosing to ignore her despite the fact that they had connected on that sidewalk. Sure they had been strangers but he had to have liked her enough to instantly offer her a job without knowing if she was good for it or not.
