Connected Again
Mia's POV
I was not transporting any articles of clothes. In spite of the fact that I hadn't planned on it, I ended up accepting Chris's request to spend the night somewhere other than at my house. He gave me one of his worn-out t-shirts to wear.
"You can wear it with pants if you like. It ought to have a cozier feel to it."
It was. Not only was it superior to what I was wearing, but it also smelled like Chris and had been used so frequently that it had become soft from wear. Not only that but it had also been worn so frequently that it had scented like Chris. Whenever I lay down to sleep, I always take off my pants and just wear my shirt.
