I used my memory to call that number.

“Jane, I've taken your mother back to B city. Don't worry about her anymore. If you want, you can go home to see her. I haven't seen you for 2 years. I miss you too.”

What Randall Dench said sounded reasonable. A father would probably say that to a daughter.

But I know it's just a fake Randall Dench. His real intention is to bring mother back to threaten me.

I tried to calm myself down and said, “where is my mother? I want to talk to her.”

“Your mother?” Randall Dench sighed and continued, “she's not in good health. It's not convenient for her to talk to you.”

“Let her talk to me.” I was so worried about my mother that my hand holding the phone was trembling.

I don't even dare to think about what will happen to my mother after she is taken back by Randall Dench.
