Chapter 82 Jiu Lin is Innocent

Getting restricted is the worst thing for Hu'er. She loves to go out. Ever since Hu'er lived here, going out is something she can do. Outside the book, she couldn't do such a thing.

For her, going out is freedom. She feels free. If she couldn't, it's making her suffocated. Hu'er didn't like the fact she couldn't go out when she want to.

Yet, here she is, got restricted because of what she did. Hu'er definitely didn't regret it. It's just the consistency is what she didn't expect.

One, she can't go out anymore. She can only go out if she takes lessons from Old Grandmom. Anything except for that is not allowed.

Two, all beastmen, including her future mates and brothers must get far away from her. She could see them, but they are all far away. Her Daddies are the ones who are guards, fetch, and keep her company all throughout the day. They are making sure no one will get closer to her.

Three, her Dada would give her a lesson about her keeping distance from any beastman including her future mates, again and again. He would repeat it every time she would go out to take lessons and before sleeping. This annoyed her so much

She couldn't do anything about it either. Her Daddy Jia Ting was the one who decided to 'teach her a lesson'. It is to make sure 'Hu'er won't be taken advantage of'.

The thing is, it wasn't the beastman who is taking advantage of Hu'er, but Hu'er who is taking advantage of the beastman.

The number one 'punishment' isn't actually Hu'er punishment but it's for her safety. Qiang Li and the beastmen he taught how to tame and care for wild animals are now collecting them for breeding.

These wild animals are for the whole tribe. But because it is Qiang Li who found and tamed it, if they slaughter the wild animals Qiang Li will be given a portion.

The number two punishment is for her future mates and brothers. To let them realize that they shouldn't be too close to a female.

Jiu Lin should have stopped Hu'er from doing that thing she did. Hou Chi and Hou Xun should have knocked on Hu'er's door before opening it.

They are too close and comfortable with Hu'er that they have forgotten about keeping their distance and giving privacy to females. The Daddies are also afraid that their sons would do that to other females. They would for sure get in trouble.

For Hu'er's part, it's not her future mates' and brothers' punishment but her punishment.

Hu'er's brothers and future mates are busy working; building houses, farming, fishing, mining, collecting information, creating medicine, curing others, making clothes, weaving, and so on that they would have no time to think about Hu'er.

Meanwhile, from waking up, during lessons, and before going to sleep, Hu'er would unconsciously think about her future mates; what are they doing? Did they eat? Are they awake now? It's dark, are they at home now? Did they take a rest? All those things are running through her mind as the day goes on.

It's been a painful day for her.

And it got more painful every time her Dada gives her a lesson. He would only repeat the words every day so that she can recite them even backward.

She can't do anything but wait the time everything goes back. Will it though?

"Distance is to make sure—."

"That I will be safe. No danger. No one can take advantage of me, disrespect me or hurt me. I know, Dada. I know." Hu'er boredly interrupted him.

"I'm just making my rounds Hu'er." Jiu Hu helplessly smiled. He knew how fed up Hu'er is. But he still did it, he would continue to do it.

His words have been memorized by Hu'er. It's what they all wanted. However, they haven't tried letting Hu'er use those words. As of now, she can't because they want to let her continue to get used to keeping her distance from any beastman, that includes them.

Jiu Hu is sitting five feet away from Hu'er. It has always been like that. Keeping five feet distance from her. When walking outside, three feet distance is fine. It is to make sure they can protect her immediately.

"Uh-huh." Hu'er yawned.

She blinked and stood up. It is time for her to go out and take lessons from her Old Grandmom.

Jiu Hu also stood up, "Your Daddy Chen Bin is downstairs. Go on. Learn well."

He opened the door and went down with her.

"Hmm…" Hu'er got down too. She looks at her old study floor which is already a female treatment place.

They only need to finish building her Daddies house and put all their things there. Once they get out and change their house, it is when females can start to get treated in the treatment house.

Her Daddies don't need to go far from their home and treat them here. They only need to do that if it's an emergency or when they can't move the female and beastmen's bodies because of wounds and so on.

When they got out of the house, Chen Bin is waiting outside with some beastmen and her Daddies. He saw them. Chem Bin nodded at the crowd and said something before walking towards them.

"Ready to go Hu'er?" He gently asked.

Hu'er nodded, "Yes."

"Jiu Hu, I'll take her now." Chen Bin smiles happily.

"Hmm… Be careful on the way." looks at Hu'er, "Listen well."

Hu'er just nodded at him and said goodbye. Not waiting for Chem Bin she walked away.

Chen Bin nodded at Jiu Hu to assure him before following Hu'er.

It's finally his turn to bring her out and fetch her later. Chen Bin is a bit nervous and cautious. He didn't want anything to happen to Hu'er, especially at his sight and protection.
