Chapter 7: The Fury of Asur General
The Asur General looked furious once he came to know this since according to him humans were weak and petty with a much backward technology so they were never in the race with the Asur's. The Asur's only viewed the Dev's as their real competitors from a higher realm and now that a handful of humans were able to overcome the obstacle of artificial Asteroid belt setup by the Asura's successfully they were naturally embarrassed.
The Asur General never expected this outcome as he said: "They escaped the asteroid belt and were able to enter the desolate area! And none of you actually intervened when you saw them getting escaped? How dare you return without fulfilling the mission?"
The Asur subordinate had a fearful expression since they knew that once the Asur General is infuriated then few of the Asur lives will be lost so they answered: "Sir! We tried our best to stop them as when we saw that they were successfully maneuvering between the asteroids we immediately increased the frequency of the asteroids shooting towards the human's space ship however they had powerful laser blasters installed on the space ship with which they blasted away the asteroids which came too close to the ship and successfully escaped from our grasp."
The Asur general screamed at them for their poor performance and said: "How dare you guys come back to me without accomplishing and failing on the task assigned to you? Not only you failed to stop the weak humans from passing into the desolate area but you also lost their track and did not know where they were. Don't you know that the reward for failing in your military task is the death penalty in the military?"
The Asur subordinate and all his junior Asur comrades were all trembling with fear as they knew that once the Asur General was angry at them it will be their death sentence so they started kowtowing in front of the General asking for forgiveness and said: "General, kindly forgive us and allow us one more chance to prove our worth, as we all know of your generosity, and we shall be forever grateful to you."
Even though the Asur warriors pleaded and tried their best to ask for forgiveness but what could they do since at the next moment the Asur General attacked with his staff and fired two white rays on the Asuras who were standing and shivering in front of him out of fear and they were turned into ashes.
The rest of the Asur subordinates who were still alive knew how proud this General was, and they should do everything they could to save their life because it was on the verge of death since next it was there turn to convert into ashes so they started pleading and praising the General, his comrades also joined in and praised the General, it seemed like the General's anger was subdued to some extent.
However the general knew how crucial it was to stop the Humans so he ordered immediately: "Fine I'm forgiving you this time, but you should go back with your troops and find out where the humans are since they know exactly where the energy essence is, and if you all can find the humans, it will indirectly help us get the energy essence. So go now, and do not return back empty-handed this time, or you'll be rewarded with the death penalty."
The Asur Subordinate and his troops did not say anything as they only kowtowed in front of the General to spare their lives and left quickly.
After discussing a few more military tactics and strategies, the General adjourned the meeting and was left alone. He then turned on the three-dimensional image machine that had been set up on his military tent, and an image of an Asur appeared on it with a three-dimensional effect, as if the Asur was actually present.
The Asur who was projected in the three dimensional image machine had a domineering aura surrounding him, with red eyes and a vicious countenance, and when compared to the General, the Asur appeared massive, with big muscles on his body and a crown on his head, giving him a majestic aspect. He was the Asur Emperor.
The Asur General Greeted him saying: "Your Highness as per your direction I have arranged for the Asura's to find the traces of the Energy essence and also we are trying to stop the humans from reaching the desolate area."
The Asur general did not dare to reveal the information that his troops were actually unable to stop the humans from entering into the desolate space and successfully escaped the asteroid belt.
The Emperor said: "Hmmm nice work now try finding the energy essence as soon as possible and give me updates on this mission if required try contacting the human traitor and see if he can get the information on the exact location of the energy essence or you can also let the humans complete their search of finding the energy essence once they find it you can seize it from them."
The Asur General said: "We will follow your command, your Highness."
