Military Zone
After traveling for three days non stop, Thomas and his entourage finally reach the northern border of the sky polar empire.
The atmosphere of the northern border was a lot different from the city. The air was filled with blood and the surrounding was solem.
The carriage speed slowed down, in front, there was a huge barrack with lots of soldiers coming and going out.
The carriage finally 20 meters away from the military camp.
Getting down from the carriage, Thomas and the teachers saw different scenes. While some soldiers were brought into the camp in rush, screaming in great agony. Some were not moving. Some had their body part missing.
The atmosphere was nothing short of peaceful. Three soldiers walked out to Thomas and the teacher who stood beside him.
Giving out a military salute, the soldier in front said in solem voice.
"Welcome to the camp. I'm lieutenant Murray. The general is already expecting your arrival."
