Chapter "The Welcoming Home"

Ayame angrily came down from the bed, ran towards the window, and started looking out. She was gasping, everyone was looking at her. Chiaki was smiling, Yuta and Hikaru were confused. Yuta also came down from the bed, walked towards her, stood behind her, and asked, "Hey, are you okay?" She responded, saying, "I'm fine; I'm going now." He started to walk away, but Yuta stopped her, holding her hand, and asked, "Why? What happened?" She responded, saying, "I'm fine; I just want to go home." Chiaki continued to smile. Yuta said, "Alright, I'll drop you," glancing at Hikaru he said, "We have to go now." Hikaru also came down from his bed and said, "Alright, let me see you off." They all them exited the room.

After few hours, Hikaru, his sister, and mother were standing at the main gate, seeing off Chiaki, who was still smiling. Hikaru's mom said, "I'm so glad you came; you should visit us again." Mizuhara added, saying, "Yeah, it will be great; we can be good friends." Chiaki responded, saying, "Of course, I will visit again," and bowed, adding, "And thank you for welcoming me." She then looked at Hikaru and waved, his mother and sister waved back, and she walked away. His mother shut the door, and both his mother and sister started looking at Hikaru with excitement. Hikaru looked at them and said, "She's just my classmate, nothing more." They both kept smiling and walked away while maintaining their smiles. Hikaru took a sigh and walked upstairs towards his room.

Hikaru stood by his window, holding pen and paper, waiting for Ayumi. He looked at his wristwatch and said, "Why is she late?"

After half an hour, Hikaru was still standing and waiting. Finally, Ayumi opened the window. Upon seeing Ayumi, Hikaru smiled, but Ayumi wasn't looking much happy; she seemed a bit sad. Hikaru noticed it and wrote, "What happened?" and showed it to her. Ayumi read it, wrote something, and showed it, saying, "Nothing." Hikaru smiled and wrote, "You should be happy; from next week, you will join the same school as me." Upon reading this, Ayumi smiled with sadness, slowly wrote something, and showed it, saying, "I won't; we are shifting house again." Hikaru's eyes widened; he was shocked and confused. He quickly wrote, "Why?" and showed it to her. Ayumi wrote and showed, "It always happens whenever someone knows about me; we shift away from that place." Hikaru was confused; he wrote, "But why?" and showed it to her. Ayumi smiled gently, wrote, and showed, saying, "I want to feel you." Hikaru's eyes widened. She then quickly picked up Hikaru's painting, held it tight with a smile. Hikaru was confused; he wrote, "I can't understand why you always shift houses and why you don't come out from your house?" And showed it to her; upon reading, she smiled and wrote something, showing, "I want to talk to you face to face." Hikaru glanced at her; she then wrote something again and showed, "Can you come here?" Hikaru was still glancing at her, then he wrote, "Yes, I can," and showed it to her. She smiled and raised her hands, inviting him to come.

Hikaru nodded and quickly walked away. He wore a black hoodie, took his phone and keys, and slowly sneaked out from his room, then came downstairs, and slowly opened his house main door, sneaking out. He now stood, looking at Ayumi, who was at her window, smiling and glancing at him. Hikaru signaled her to open her house; then she shook her head in no. Hikaru got confused; she then wrote something, showing, "You can't come from the main gate; you have to climb up and enter through the window." Hikaru was confused but determined; he started looking for something when Ayumi signaled him to wait, and she walked away. Hikaru started waiting, and after some time, she came back and tied many bedsheets together, making a rope. She then threw it down from her window and wrote something, showing, "Come up; I have tied this to my cupboard." Hikaru nodded with confidence and started climbing up. She was slowly coming up, and Ayumi was looking at him with a big smile on her face. Hikaru was almost there; then Ayumi offered her hand to him. Hikaru grabbed her hand, and she helped him come up.

Finally, Hikaru entered her room and sat on the ground, gasping. As Hikaru looked at Ayame, she came forward and hugged him. Hikaru was shocked; his eyes were widened, and his face was red, but he also put his one hand on her back. He was still shocked.
