Chapter "On The Run"
Hikaru quickly reached the station, stopping the bicycle. Ayumi got down, saying, "Let's go." Hikaru replied, "Wait a minute." He noticed a trash truck in the distance, and the trash collector was at work. Hikaru approached the truck with his bicycle, threw it inside, and returned to Ayumi, who asked, "What was that?" Hikaru explained saying, "I had to do it. If they find the bicycle here, it won't be hard for them to figure out where we were going." Ayumi nodded. Hikaru held her hand and said, "Let's go." Both started running.
The police were in their car, searching for Hikaru and Ayumi. The policeman said, "They won't be on the main street. I guess they'll try to leave this city." He then instructed the other officer in the car, saying, "Inform our officers to check every train station for them." The officer nodded.
Hikaru and Ayumi quickly entered the train, taking their seats and catching their breaths. Ayumi, excitedly, said, "I'm so happy I'll finally be able to see the ocean." Hikaru smiled and responded saying, "Yeah, it's crazy, but it will be fun." She nodded.
Back at Hikaru's house, his family and Yuta stood together. Hikaru's father asked Yuta, "Did he tell you anything?" Yuta shook his head and replied, "No, he didn't tell me anything. He seemed normal." Hikaru's father looked worried and said, "Now, how can we reach him? He doesn't have any other friends." Yuta said, "No, sir, if you think I'm his only friend, then you are wrong." Hikaru's family looked at Yuta with confusion. Mizuhara added saying, "Yes, that girl, Chiaki." Hikaru's father inquired, "Chiaki?" Hikaru's mother clarified saying, "Yes, she was Hikaru's friend too." Yuta assured saying, "Sir, don't worry. I will gather all the information about this, and I promise I will bring Hikaru back." Hikaru's father nodded, saying, "Alright, then we all will bring Hikaru back." Everyone nodded.
As Hikaru and Ayumi traveled, Ayumi looked out of the window with excitement. Hikaru also glanced outside, smiling. Ayumi then pulled out a camera from her bag and showed it to Hikaru, who smiled and said, "Wow, you also brought a camera with us." She replied, "Of course, I did. I want to capture these memories that I will never forget." Hikaru smiled, and she started recording him. He nervously rubbed the back of his head. Ayumi said, "Wave at me, Hikaru." He waved at the camera and said, "I hope we will enjoy this and make it the best time of our lives." Ayumi smiled and said, "We will." Both continued smiling, and Ayumi started recording the scenery outside.
Chiaki shouted saying, "What?" Ayame also looked shocked, and Yuta stood facing them. He said, "Yes, that's true. Hikaru ran away with a girl from his neighborhood." Chiaki exclaimed saying, "How can he? And where did they run?" Yuta shook his head and said, "I don't know, but I'm sure about one thing: Hikaru is in deep trouble." Ayame interjected saying, "Hikaru can't do something this stupid; there must be some reason." Yuta responded saying, "Whatever the reason was, running away, especially with a girl who's underage, is stupidity. That policeman is now after Hikaru." Ayame suggested saying, "We should help them." Yuta agreed saying, "Yes. Did you both get a chance to talk with Hikaru?" Chiaki responded saying, "I wanted to talk. In fact, I called him and invited him to go to a concert with me, but he hung up, saying he was busy." Yuta then looked at Ayame, whose face turned red. Both Chiaki and Yuta glanced at Ayame. Chiaki asked, "Ayame? Did you talk to him?" Ayame looked nervous and shy. Yuta said, "Ayame, if you did, then tell us; it's very important." Ayame said, "I proposed to Hikaru after school." Chiaki and Yuta's eyes widened. Chiaki got angry and said, "Who do you think you are? Dating his friend then dumping him, and now proposing to Hikaru?" She didn't respond. Chiaki seemed angry. Yuta said, "Alright, let's try to find them in our area first." Chiaki nodded and said, "We should call them." Yuta added, "No, he left his phone at home." All looked worried.
The train stopped, and Ayumi and Hikaru came out, looking at Tamakura. Her eyes lit up with excitement as she said, "Tamakura." Hikaru smiled. She asked, "Can we go to Kamakura beach now?" Hikaru nodded, and she excitedly hugged Hikaru, who hugged her back.
The policeman was standing at the police station. One of the policemen said, "Officer Musashi, we know this case is important for you, but we can't blame the boy without knowing the reason." Musashi responded saying, "Reason? Running away with an underage girl is a crime, and I will catch every criminal, especially one who misuses an innocent girl." All officers glanced at Masashi, who angrily said, "They are not in this country. I want records from every station in 20 minutes. I want their location at any cost! Do you understand?" All officers nodded, and Masashi looked angry. Then he had a flashback of a girl laughing and playing. Masashi tightened his fist in anger.
