Chapter "Eyes Meet Elegance"

Everyone were walking, sharing laughter and enjoying their time with their respective partners. However, Hikaru lagged behind, when suddenly Ayame came up beside him and started walking beside Hikaru who gazed at her and they kept walking in silence. Ayame broke the silence, saying, "I'm sorry if I troubled you somehow." Hikaru rudely replied saying, "It's okay." Ayame's eyes widened with confusion.

After sometimes they all were at the karaoke where a song was played loudly, and everyone was having good time with their partners. Hikaru sat without a smile, and Yuta, sitting next to him with his girlfriend, he then looks at Hikaru and said, "Hey Hikaru, you and Ayame should sing together." Hikaru looked at Yuta and responded saying, "I'm not doing anything." Yuta, frustrated, said, "Come on, at least think about Ayame; she came here just for you." Hikaru replied saying, "I didn't ask her to come." Ayame smiled and asked, "So, you decided to join us because you wanted to avoid guests?" Hikaru replied, "Yeah." She asked, "Do you really like the way you are living?" Hikaru didn't respond. She added asking, "I mean, why are you living such a boring life?" Hikaru asked, "Why is it bothering you?" She replied, "Because I really want to see you living a happy and joyful life." Hikaru didn't respond, and both kept walking. After some time, she said, "That's it, that's my house." Hikaru said, "Alright then, I will go now." She didn't respond, and Hikaru turn his back and started walking away, leaving Ayame standing, looking very sad.

Hikaru entered his house, where his family was sitting together. Hikaru ignored them and walked upstairs towards his room. His father said, "Hey Hikaru, come and sit with us." Hikaru said, "I have class tomorrow." His dad insisted saying, "Hikaru, come and sit!" Hikaru stopped, took a sigh, and walked back and sits with his family. The girl smiled, got down from the window, and as she was about to close it, she noticed Hikaru gazing at her. Their eyes met, and both of them were fixated on each other.
