Prologue

Beyond magical sky

There was someone who seeks love

Flying across the cloud

Dashing through mountain

Running across the dark forest

Till she found a maze city

Which brings her love

That holds her for eternity

"Mom.."

"Yes?"

"What is a mountain?"

"It's a huge green natural thing. It is so high. You need to climb it to reach the peak," says the mother. She looked at her child with a twinkling eye.

"I wish one day I can climb it!" that child screams happily. Her mother smiles helplessly, watching the kid with tired eyes that hold the pain for so long.

"I love you, my child..."

"I love you too, mom!"

"How much do you love me?"

"To the moon and back!" she extends her hand.

"If you do, listen to me carefully," she grabs the child's hand so she can sit next to her.

"You need to be strong no matter what. Keep in mind that there is someone who loves you and willing to sacrifice only for you. One day, you need to leave and face the outside world. For that you need to be patient and willing to open your heart," said the mother.

"I promise myself that I will be strong, so we can leave together,"

"Baby... I'm so sorry, but I can't.."

"But why?! I can't leave you here alone!" she cried her eyes out. The mother can watch her with teary eyes.

"For love, there will be a sacrifice..."

"If so, then I don't want love!"

"You can't baby.. you can't push love away. Love is so chastity..."

"But I can't lose you! I don't want that!"

"No, you will never lose me. I'm always with you, right here and here.." she pointed to the child's chest and head. She grabbed her necklace from her neck and put it in the child's palm.

"Remember, baby... Love is the most powerful force in the world. As long as you believe in love, you will survive. Look for the chastity of love. You can find peace and happiness in your life.." they looked at each other in the eyes. The child hugs her mother tight. She cries in her embrace.

"I love you so much baby..." as she finished her words, she closed her eyes shut.

She holds the necklace tight. It has been forever since her mother died. These four walls have been her home and alone since then. She never leaves as she feels she betraying her mother. Furthermore, she still feels her presence and love within these walls.

She closes her eyes for a moment.

Then she opens up. Her cornea turns into purple.

She can sniffs the attack. She dodges it gracefully. The Black Swan move that she learns for years pays off. She holds her spear tight, landing with her toes and swinging it, making a full moon pattern through the air.

The attack doesn't end there. Now, it's coming from the above. She manages to bend her back, hold her weight using her abdominal strength, and of course her spear as a pole. The attacker didn't stop there as he manages to flick her chin when she tried to bounce back to the front. She hits him using her knee and jump back three steps.

She sighs and smirks at the same time. The attacker seems to get antsy. He throws his pole to his side and position himself to hand combat. She knew this will come. She tosses her spears, takes a piece of cloth that she ties around her wrist using her teeth, and ties up her long ponytail into a bun.

They exchange blows. She uses her right arm to attack and her left for defense. He grabs her hand but as he wants to throw her down, she manages to climb him and put a headlock on his neck. But he manages to escape, putting her in a tight lock under his body using Jujitsu Technic. She growls in pain, but she never gives up. She punches his abs and escapes herself.

"Let's stop for now.." he undo his mask. She just smiles and nods. He grabs his water bottle and gives it to her. He looks at her, still an adorable child. He pats her head a few times.

Lucas knew her since she was five years old. The Black Knight assigned him to be his combat master. He knew about her history and her mother as well. At first, he felt reluctant. She was just a mere child. And they want to turn her into a weapon. He knew there must be a reason behind all this.

But looking at her makes him feel like looking at his child. He knew combat training wasn't enough to prep her for the outside world. So, he asked the Black Knight if he could call his wife, Lisa to teach her about everything else.

Lisa is a principal at Cosmos Middle School and one of the board members of the Education Ministry. He knew his wife can help this helpless girl.

Lisa couldn't be happier to be her teacher. They waiting for so long to have a child in their household. So, Lisa, who had already given up her dreams of becoming a mother feel alive again when she met her for the first time.

Although it is hard for the girl to open up for the first time, Lisa manages to grab her attention to the outside world. But, to be truth Lisa can see there is no love in the girl. She got attached to her mother so bad. Her death breaks her heart.

"No practice for tomorrow till next week.."

"Why?"

"Well... Lisa.. she's giving birth anytime soon. So, I need to be prepared," Lucas told her as he smiles. The girl is twelve years old now. Who knows after five years of teaching her, Lisa eventually got pregnant. And after two years, she is getting pregnant again. The girl is their lucky charm.

"I read from somewhere that it is not easy to give birth. It is a matter of life and death situation," said her.

"You read that maternity book again?"

"I was bored, and Lisa left the book here," she talks casually. There is no expression on her face.

"You're not supposed to read that.."

"It's a nice book. Besides, I am not a child anymore. Sooner or later I will be coming to age,"

"I can't have this conversation with you.."

"I know, that's why I read the book while Lisa is on leave. I can't simply ask you some sort of things, right?" said her. He just shakes his head.

"Master.."

"Yes?"

"What do you want for this child?" she asked. Lucas smile sheepishly.

"I already got a boy for my firstborn. So, this time I prefer a girl. Just like you. Talented and brave,"

"Oh.."

"Why?"

"Sorry to burst your bubble dream, Master. But you will have a boy for this birth,"

"Hey, how did you know?"

"He just whispering to me..." Lucas stutters a bit. But, he feels like maybe, the girl just teasing him.

"I am pretty sure that my baby is a girl.."

"Wanna bet? If your baby is a girl, you can punish me by making me train for 10 hours non-stop. But if he is a boy, you need to teach me The Blood Crescent Moon Technic that you learned from your ancestor," she tells him that before taking a leave.

"Get ready to get toasted.."

"Get ready to reveal a family's secret.." as she walks away, she waved at him.

She can't even believe that day was the last time she ever spoke to Lucas. The next few days, she heard from her guardian that Lucas and Lisa were having an accident while on the way home from the hospital, leaving their sons behind.

Yes, he got a baby boy for his second-born. She was crying out loud when she heard the news. She wanted to attend the funeral, but The Black Knight refused to let her.

Since then, she was alone between this wall. She looked at the crane origami that hanging on the top of her bed. She made them in commemoration of Lisa, Lucas, and her mother. They will always be in her heart and her strength to live every day.

Lately, she feels a little bit strange. Like some bad thing will happen. But she wasn't sure what is it. It's just a tinge feeling that she can't let go of.

The wind blows so slow. It's a dead silent. She checks outside the window, onto the sky. She can see from far, a red twinkle coming closer towards Cosmos City.

Suddenly, she feels a sharp pain in her head. She sees a glimpse of vision. Fire burning, arm blasting, sounds of roar, people running, and thunder. Then she saw a purple light.

She screams her lung out.

A blast coming from the outside, straight towards the nearby building, crashing into pieces. She could hear screams and a glimpse of a woman looking at her with tears in her eyes.

"MOM!!!!!"
