Chapter 3

The grounds were a sight to behold. the field was somehow bigger than the one I was in before. I was quite surprised to see two other types of uniforms besides the green one I had on. some students wore a red uniform, some brown and the rest were green like the one I had on. the designs though were basically a duplicate of mine just with different colors.

I noticed they were all going through three different pathways, each color of uniforms having its own path and being sort. I decided to follow the uniform that was my color, because it seemed like the most logical thing to do. We were lead to another field with more pathways separating the students, and when I tell you I have never been so confused in my life. I decided to go into a random one and hoped that it was where I'm supposed to be.

This time the path lead to an old fashioned room. It looked like something from the 1800's with its dark bricks and candles illuminating the dark window less room. All of a sudden I felt a gust of wind blowing though me, abruptly wielder out the candles. I knew that that was the work of a magic wielder and I was quite impressed. "Good day students, I am professor Mendre. I will be educating you on fire and its pledged (pronounced pleh-jed) element, the gale." I furrowed my eyebrows at all, fire was not my department at all and wind was so much worse.

"Miss by my left in the green uniform, please do give your best take at lighting up the embers on this pilliar." Mr Mendre spoke catching me by surprise and adding to my confusion. "But everyone here is wearing a green uniform." I pointed out thinking it was the old age getting to him, after all he did have a beard white as snow the same length as his chest.

"You do it since your the only one standing by my left." "I know you were referring to me but I was just pointing out that you said the girl in green when were all wearing green." "Enough with the clearly pointless point you're trying to prove and light up those embers, and that is a command." Okay maybe he had no old age problems.

I gulped as I stepped forward, hoping for a miracle because fire wielding was not a skill I possessed. I wave my hand around in an awkward motion and as expected nothing happened to the wood on the pillars. "What is the meaning of this, you should be at least ale to yield fire in your palm." Mr Mendre said sounding very annoyed at me at this point. He quickly realized that I could not manipulate fire and pinched the bridge of his nose. "If you cant wield fire, why were you hear?" I looked at the walls then him then back at the walls. "..I may have gotten lost." I said still not mainting eye contact. He waved his hand and a woman stepped out from the shadows. "let me escort you out." She said and started walking.

I followed behind her matching her quick strides. We reached the end of the tunnel like hallway and were met by a bed of grass. The woman bended a little placing her hands on her knees making me realise how tall she really was. "I'm Miss Agassi, and will be of aid to most of your needs, okay?" She spoke in such a soothing voice that I find myself feeling more comfortable with her by the second. "So what type of elements can you generate?" "I can generate plants pretty much anywhere and can manipulate water." Miss Agassi smiled "Thats a pretty great combo, not much people have such beautifully sorted magic. Now lets get you to your designated chambers."

I was led to a chamber that had vines growing on the walls and moss on the floor. I continued down the path alone since Miss Agassi had said that she could not enter chambers that werent on her schedule. Upon entering I encountered about 200 students tending to some plants and trees. The professor noticed me entering as stood by the door looking in awe of the scene infront of me. Most of the students had been working in groups, each of them experimenting and trying to find out what thier power can do.

"Hello, are you in need of any assistance?" The teacher of this class asked approaching me. "Uh actually, yes I am supposed to be here, excuse my lateness sir I didnt know which chamber to go to." I say with a awkward laugh in the end, feeling a little embarrassed to explain that. "Please, regard me as professor Galen. Do tell me your abilities so I can help you get a grip on the this class, for today." "I possess the ability to grow plants and manipulate water in short." I say a little excited for what in store for me. He motions for me to follow him and stops a table with one person working on it.

"I'm assigning Dimitri as your partner seeing you two have magic that would work well together. If you are in need of assistance do not hesitate to call me." I nod as he walks to help another group of students on something else. "Hi, I'm Michela, mind if I work with you?" "Honestly I do, you can join me if you want I guess." I pulled out a chair and sat next him, I then observed his work to get an idea of what he was doing, to find a Sakura tree with a few flowers on it. He was focusing on growing each flower on by one, I noticed he was struggling a little bit though and decided to help him out.

I extracted water from the plant and it floated around me. "What are you doing exactly?" He said already being pissed of within a matter of seconds. "You're plant has too much water in it which is making it harder to grow the flowers on that tree." After finishing removing the water I turned to him. "Now try it again again." He gave me a skeptical look but tried either way, turns out i was right and he growed flowers with more eaze. We sat and chatted for awhile as he started warming up to me after helping him with his flower. He was actually a sweet guy and we enjoyed each other's company till the time of fields was over. I went back to my dorm with a slight hop in my steps and a subtle smile on my face thinking about a certain boy named Dimitri.
