Soon we finished all the procedures and became co owner of the company I had only one request that my brother shouldn't know that I own the company and other thing was he should always be treated as normal employee

Hearing all this Maya accepted my request and it was decided that all the acquisition of the company will be made in such a way that the public will think that the company is fully owned by Maya

As soon as we finished the procedures I took my leave

Maya - if he is going to make blunders that's going to affect the company I'll just terminated him

Raj - yes miss Malhotra it's your company you can take good decisions and better than me and I don't like interfering in my brothers life I just want him to be the one grabbing opportunities not the one given to him

Maya Hearing this had a feeling that couldn't be described she felt a longing for such kind of care that she was able to sense from Raj

Maya - ok then Mr Raj we shall see what is your brother going to be worth at this company

As she said this both of them nodded at each other and end their meetings

And Raj made his way to home where everyone was waiting for him

As soon he went inside he forgot that he has left his phone back at the conference room

Inside the company Maya was contemplating about the conversation she had with the person she met just now, she was never a type of girl who would be appreciative of anyone that too a Man ,but today she felt differently because of the life she had she could easily differ the person who is faking it ,but this he was different he doesn't need to fake it a prodigy who easily acquire any company had a conversation on equal level with with no arrogance

As Maya was contemplating about all this she made her way toward the lift

As soon as she started coming near the lift the lights in the room started to flicker and familiar whistling could be heard it was none othere than Maya's father Ashwin

Maya started shivering as soon as she heard the whistling

As the sounds of the steps came near her she started having flashbacks of her childhood where she was beaten and bullied to no ends

Ashwin - Maya baby.....where are you ....?.....look papa is here

Ashwin talking loudly made his way towards her and crouched besider her

Ashwin - Maya baby..... did you miss your ....dad...,dad is never going to leave you, u can never run away from me....

Ashwin started to pull Maya's face toward him to look into her eyes ,to which Maya started resisting and pushed Ashwin away which made him stumble because of the leg injury that was inflicted by Maya during her childhood ,As soon as ashwin fell on his ass ,Ashwin had the flashback in which he was injured by Maya using a knife

Ashwin Angrily stood by taking support of the wall , and pulled Maya towards him and raised his hand to slap her

Maya's Pov

I was never able to run from my past and today too my past has come to haunt me and hit me...

God when are you going to make all this go away

As ashwin hand made way to slap she just closed her eye and gave up resistance but to her surprise slap never came her way ...

which made open the eyes where she can see a Man standing taller like a knight in shining armor holding Ashwin's hand
