Chapter 11

"Chimera can you please tell me where is Simon?" Yiana sipped her tea. "There is something funny about her, for sure."

"Are you referring the bond of between them?"

"No, there's more to that. But I can't find it." She nodded.  She had the power to understand a true heart, being a mermaid it was in her nature. They had the power to see through a good soul when they cross one. But Amy was more than just a true soul, she had something unusual and determined. And Simon, was crazy about her. She couldn't be that usual mortal, she could sense it.

"What is it your highness?" Chimera could read the worry behind the latter thoughtful face.

"Chimera maybe I could be wrong, but is it also possible I could be right?" She whispered. "Amy does remind me of someone. But I don't know if it's that bold to declare it."

"If her majesty, think it is proper to do so, I don't see how it should matter."

"I believe I should talk to Simon first." She glanced another look at her, "Can you send him to me? I want to converse in private with him."

"Simon why you never told me about that?" He carried her to the room. "But maybe, it's for the best. I would have never known about the truth." She added, as soon as he put her on the bed.

"Love, the truth is yet to be known." He replied. "I will have to leave for couple of days. I will go at the cave to persuade the cave guardian to help us." Simon kneeled in front of her. "I know you will find yourself a bit lonely whist I'll be gone, but rest assure Alex will be here and he said he will help you find out the truth. You can trust him." He knew that he can tell her that, because maybe he might be holding grudges right now, still deep inside him he knew he can trust him.

"Prince Simon, the princess Yiana, request an audience with you." Chimera bowed and added.

"Why?"

"Simon, go ahead. Maybe she has something important to say. I'll wait for you here."

" Do you think that they are the best choice?" Jack asked again.

"My good friend, why don't you drop out this silly idea to judge the decision made by the council and enjoy the scene." The latter sipped his tea and smiled faintly.

"I apologize for being the only one to care enough about our only beloved land, and think that if one step we've planned screwed."

"I would say that the only one thing you could ask is apologies for being the dope of the group." Mark taunted again.

"How funny, that the lord of intelligence himself is not cautious….and takes everything for birds!"

"Jack, why don't you smooth yourself and have a nice tea." Jamie suggested.

"I'm not such a fan of tea…."

"I know, that's why we looked for something that you might be interested in…" Ian explained. "or should I say someone?"

They all giggled at his nervous face and confounded smile, knowing who they meant. The thing that it's been so many years and he doesn't even know if she would agree to talk to him. The last time he saw here was when the battle of hell and heaven was taking place, and those were the days when he would spend most of his time through the study, but never with the intention to study, but only to be with her. To feel her presence next to him. To just listen to her talking all day.

Yiana sat on the edge of the bed waiting impatiently for him. It's been so many years since last time they met. And yet she still feels his body press against hers and his hot lips on her trembling lips. They were so perfect for each other. Their love bloomed with every new dawn. They loved to spend hours waiting for the twilight. They would kiss and held each other for long time.  Her hairs were loose and fell on her face, just like he liked them. She wore his favorite color navy blue dress and some slightly light pink mascara. "Finally, we meet again." She said as the door opened.

He was standing at the door, his yellow eyes fixed on her. His face shadowed by the dim sunlight flashing through the window pans. He had that same style that once she liked about him. "Her highness asked for me?" He sheepishly added, trying to flash away his inner feelings he was having at that particular moment.  He has to ignore that pain in his heart and think about Bewix and Amy only. He kept reminding himself.

"Her highness?" She bellowed back.  Why he was being like that? "You never used such formality with me before. Why now?" She was already closed to him.

"I apologize your highness, but I don't think the king to be would appreciate it if I address you as any other title." He dared.

"Your majesty what are doing here?" Amy placed her sweaters on the royal chair.  Alex was seated admiring the view outside. His hands clamed and he was thoughtful. "Is something wrong?"

"I often wonder if I'll ever understand him." He said without looking at her. "He pretends that nothing affects him, and yet I can see that he still feels something for her." This time he was looking at her. "Did he ever told you, about his adventures he had here in Bewix?"

"I never asked him, really. But I know that when he left Bewix he was quite sad and almost destroyed." I bet you know the reason to it. And I bet I know the reason why you are here as well, your wife to be is with the one she once loved and that is troubling you.

"Pity. I thought you would like to know everything about the one you love." A bitterness as he talked. His hands tucked into his pocket he was staring sharply at her. She might be lying but why? It was clear that they did feel something for each other.

"If you love someone that shouldn't mean that you should impose yourself on him." She bellowed and she meant it.

"I have a solution to your dilemma. We will go at the Garden of Eden." He said. He knows that his aunt will surely help him, as being the nythm she will surely figure out a way to help her. It was certain that she was not a mortal but who she was? She doesn't seem to be having any powers whatsoever.

"What?" Yiana asked again, which seemed like the tenth time to him.  The council that she should accompany Simon to the cave to speak with grandmother. But if they presume she can help, they must be right. She can't possibly ignore their decision; it will surely be the most foolish act.

"Yes, most unfortunate as it is. They've decided that we must use our powers to seal close the portal before it attains Bewix. But for the spell we will have to speak with Grams first." Simon explained.  He hated to be with her again but he will have to resist and accept that decision. He might buy some time to discover the fact about Amy as well, and once they've solve it, they would return back to their world.
