Peggy surprise to see Jonie.

The next day in LING'S HIGH SCHOOL.

Lily quickly went to her father's office to talk to him about what she discussed with her mother the other day.

   Unspectacular as expected, he was sitting down busily with his loads of work when she entered. She walked straight up to him at his table and sat down.

  "Hi, dad". She waved.

"Hello my dear how are you doing". He asked still with his eyes glued on the paper in front of him.

  " I'm cool dad, what are you busy with now?". She asked.

" Just checking the student report".

" Ooh that's okay..but can't you use some magic for help?". She said and laughed.

   " My dear this one needs to be checked properly and in a chronologically way or else you will mistake them. You know not all of them are normal human beings". He said.

   " That good dad". She smiled.

" So what brought you here today?". He asked and put the books aside.

" I want to discuss something with you". She said and bit her lips.

" Go ahead, my dear". He gave her permission.

She exhaled and kept quiet for about a minute before speaking.

  " I don't want to train Dela to our merits anymore. If I should train him, it should be for his good and not for our purpose of exploiting him". She said.

    His father's smiling face turned into the wicked man he was.

" What did I just hear you saying?". He asked.

" Dad I can't do that to him anymore, he is just an innocent soul with fluorescent power". She said.

" You have become ruthless Lily!. You have never talked against my orders, don't you dare tell me you like that boy!?". Her father snapped.

" Dad!..".

" No! Don't speak, I just want the reason why you want to withdraw from it!?". Her father asked.

" It's.. just ".

" It's just because you like him right, is that not so!?,". Lily kept quiet.

" No problem, but take your time and reasoned everything and see if he likes you too". He said and Lily bent her head.

  " My dear,". He said softly.

" You don't need her, just imagine he got to know about all the souls you have killed, all the things you have destroyed in people's life what do you think he will take you for?". Her father said as he caressed her shoulders.

"Dad, that was a hundred years ago. it has passed". She said and raised her head.

   Her father chuckled. " It was in the past but nothing has changed. Those people haven't come back to life either, right?".

    " Come on dad, I'm your daughter and you can't threat me with something you forced me to do". She said.

  " You're my daughter and my last hope , Lily. you are the only one who can accomplish this mission for me with ease". He said.

" Dad, stop stressing yourself for I won't do it, I'm not going to that today or non tomorrow!". She said.

" I will give you time to think about it. Whatever you do my dear lily, have it at the back of your mind that he will never accept a vampire. He might even end up loving his guardian". He said and Lily's heart sink in within her.

  She stood up for a while, stared at her father who was looking straight into her eye and then walked out with a different face she entered with.

She met Asher and a guy at the door, but she didn't bother to say anything for they weren't her problem now. She walked past them.

  Mr. Ling sat down with a displeased look on his face. He wasn't going to just sit down and watch Lily going back on that. Even though vampires are immortals, their powers are not always trustworthy, and his daughter is already failing him. He needs Dela to reactivate her energy and gain more powers by taking over the kingdom of pure magic.

  He had trained her for as long as he could remember. Of course, he was her father and has to do whatever he requested her to do. How can a little boy come out from nowhere and ruin everything for him?

  His thought was interrupted by the knocking on the door. He looked up and saw someone whom he recognized that instant but the other one with him, he doesn't know who he is.

  " Good day, Mr. Ling". Asher said mockingly.

   " What do you want in my office? ". He asked.

" You haven't answered my greetings, how then can I go on". He asked but Mr. Ling ignored him.  Asher signed and answered his question.

  " Oh..I brought my brother here to be enrolled in this school". He said.

He looked at Hassan closely. He wasn't the only one after Dela. Other creatures are after him too. and if the Demons know so will the witches know. He needed to act fast.

   " He does not qualify".  Mr. Ling commented.

Asher laughed. " Since when did you care about qualification, Ling? I have known you for centuries, and I can tell you are purposely doing this. Why?". He asked, even though he knew why he refused.

" What's up with you? Stop nagging around and take your so call brother elsewhere I'm not giving anyone admission". He said.

Asher chuckled. " Okay Mr. Principal, I guess he will still school here. Besides he doesn't need qualifications or whatever you are saying. Because were aren't students of this school, we are all here for one purpose ". He smirked and left with Hassan.

   Mr. Ling knew what he said and it angered him. He wasn't going to let anyone take over the kingdom he has been looking for so long. And wasn't going to let his efforts be ingain. It has to be his and no one else!

    Jonie wanted to see his mother's reaction when she sees him, so he spent the night at a hotel, and the next day, early in the morning he drove back home.

Peggy stumbled backward immediately her eyes set on him

" Hi, mom". Jonie waved with a smile.

" H..i..hi..". She stumbled on her words too. Just then, she heard the early broadcasters making news on four dead bodies of men around the bush way. That only was able to make her go down on her knees. She fell to the floor in Infront of Jonie and he also pretended as if he doesn't know what was going on.

  " Mom, what is wrong? Why are you on the floor?". Peggy realized that Jonie was standing right Infront of her so she quickly put herself together and got up with a smile.

   " Nothing my dear, I was feeling some small pains in my legs so I think I need to go to my room". She said and started walking away but Jonie stopped her.

" Mom, can I help you to your room, please?  He asked.

  " No, No don't worry yourself I will be fine ". She lied and went away.

    " This is just the beginning woman ". Jonie muttered to himself and went to his room.

  Peggy took her phone immediately she entered her room and made a call.

  " Hello". She said.

" Yes my queen". The person answered.

     " Have those people I sent returned"? She said in a quick voice.

" No ..my.. queen.. actually...".

" Actually what!". She shouted.

  "We just heard the news of their dead". He said and Peggy's phone fell from her hands to the floor. She stumbled backward and fell to the ground.

   " Jonie, who are you?". She muttered to herself. Then she remembered what the devil told her. ( My son is with you and I need to kill him before he exposed me to my enemies).  She remembered.

   " No, no that can't possibly mean that he has powers !". Peggy said scribbling on the floor with her hands in her hair. It was like she was going mad that instant, that was when she realizes that the person was still on the phone.

   " Hey tell me there are not dead ". She took the phone and said.

   " Are you mad, haven't you heard it on the news yourself!". The person got mad at her as well. They have had enough of her nonsense that they can't continue anymore, they can't die for someone who doesn't care about others' life.

   " You know what Miss, we are done with this okay, and don't you, ever! dare to call us again, or else we will report you to the police". The man said and hang up on her.

   " Hey, hey. wait, wait!". She shouted but the man was off the line.

   " Nooo, I'm doomed!". She said and tears begin running down her cheeks. That was even the beginning of her suffering.

  Jonie heard his phone ringing and he took it up, it was a call from Layla.

  " Hey, what's up this morning". She said.

" Normal vibes, your side ".

   " Well I'm okay, have you heard the news ".

" Which news".

" Are you trying to tell me that you haven't heard the news of those four men's dead bodies?".

" Ooh that, I have heard it too". He smirked.

   " Ooh that is very sad. I wonder how their family will relate to the news". Layla said.

  " And have you wondered what they were doing there at that time?". He asked.

" No..but I was being suspicious about it when I first heard it". She said.

" Well for me I think they were some bad people who were sent to murder someone". Jonie said to his understanding.

   " Aah..why will you say that I don't think so". Layla defend.

   " So what were they doing there?".

" No, that should come later but the question on the media now is ' who kill them'..". Layla said and Jonie laughed.

" Haha..who would be bold enough to tell everyone that he killed them?". Jonie said.

"Hmmm...is hard, to tell the truth, but also sometimes we have to say and be free ". She said and Jonie kept quiet for a while.

   " What are you trying to say?". Jonie asked.

"I'm not trying to say anything, all that I'm saying is the person should just expose himself and let everything be normal ". Layla explained.

   "Let's assume they have been sent to kill someone and the person killed them rather. What are you going to say about that? " He said with a wicked smile.

  " Hmm... that one is okay for me, for I will even take it as self-defense".

" Now you are talking as a responsible citizen". He teased.

   " Hey let me think okay". She laughed.

" When will our school results be released?".   Jonie changed the topic.

  " I don't know, but I don't think is gonna be coming anytime soon". She said.

"That is good because I don't want to go to school again". Jonie said and Layla roll her eyes.

" What are you saying".

" I say I don't want to go to school again, what is wrong with that ".

" Nothing okay, nothing is wrong with that so you can decide not to go to school.. idiot". She said.

  " Oh, you are insulting me". Jonie said with a sad tone.

   " Oh sorry dear I didn't mean it". She laughed.

" Whatever ".

     " hey, good news". Layla said with a smile.

" What's up".

" Well, my Dad just told me that I won't be continuing my school here but rather I will go to South Korea!". She shouted and Jonie took the phone from his ear.

   " Okay, okay I have heard you don't shout too much like that, or else you will blind my ears". He said.

   " Are you not happy for me?". She asked.

" I am very , very happy for you, now if you can let me say, I will like to hang up". He said and she gave him goodbye before hanging up.

   Jonie stood up and pace up and down in his room. ( So.. that means she is going there because of Dela?). Jonie asked himself and smirked. ( Dela we are all coming to support you with the little we have). Jonie said and went to his washroom.
