Seeing the door was locked, he teleported in only to find her covering up with the bath curtains even with her clothes on. He frowned.
"If you were hurt, you could've told me. I..."
"It's not that!" She denied frantically while avoiding eye contact.
"You're still trying to hide it even with your scent eroding the air this much? How big is the wound? How much blood have you lost? How...?"
"I'm on my period, okay?" She burst out and covered her face in shame. Derek blinked.
"What?"
Derek stared blankly at Susan. He never thought of that and definitely didn't expect it either. This got him at a loss of words.
The situation suddenly became awkward, making his face flush so he looked away.
