chapter 9: The game

After some minutes, Olivia heard a sound from the door, she thought Anita forgot something again

"Anita?" asked Olivia hesitantly

Ben entered suddenly with a grin on his face.

"It's me Olivia!" said Ben grinning

"Oh Ben!" she said "You scared me."

"Am sorry, and what are you doing?" he asked looking at her work.

"I'm doing my assignment, and I don't know how to draw this skeleton well."  said Olivia pointed at the diagram

"Bring it, let me help you to draw." he said.

"Do you know how to draw?" asked Olivia surprised and handed it to him.

"Watch and see." he replied grinning

"Okay!" she was puzzled.

After some minutes, Ben finished drawing the skeleton and Olivia was dumbfounded and hugged him. Anita came in and was surprised to see the two hugging.

"What's happening here?" said Anita enquiring from Olivia.

"Nothing at all, just that Ben helped me with the assignment!" replied Olivia with a smile.

"That's great!" said Anita "And are you done now?" asked Anita.

"Yeah." replied Olivia

"Can you excuse us, Ben?"  asked Anita and turned to Olivia "Aren't you going to change your clothes for the party?" she said

"I will!" replied Olivia and she quickly got up

"Alright Olivia, you guys can take your time." said ben and went out.

"Olivia, what do you think of wearing to the party."  asked Anita wanted to know her kind of fashion.

"Anything fit able for the party!" she replied grinning.

Anita opened her wardrobe and started looking for outfit that will suit Olivia for her birthday party. And finally she saw a gown , a long fitted gown that revealed only the leg's but covered all the parts of the body.

"Uhmn, this is long we're not going for a wedding." she thought to herself.

"Here's it Olivia!" she drew a short gown that's beneath the knees and looked fitted.

Olivia saw it and quickly said "No I'm not putting it on, that is short!" said Olivia softly

"Are you kidding me! This goes for the party." exclaimed Anita.

"I know, I'm not comfortable with short gown!" said Olivia reluctantly.

"Oh dear, don't worry about that, you'll be fine on it, trust me!" said Anita pleading.

"Okay let me try it first!"  said Olivia finally agreed.

"That's right!" she said happily.

Olivia quickly pulled off the dress she was wearing before and changed to the dress Anita gave her.

"Can I look at the mirror?" declared Olivia turning to reveal herself to Anita.

"This is gorgeous!" shouted Anita after seeing her.  "You can check the mirror." she said excusing herself from the standing mirror.

"Really?" asked Olivia surprised

Olivia checked herself on the mirror and she could see how beautiful she was. She was thrilled. This was the first time she was putting on short fitted gown, all her gowns are usually loose gowns

"It looked good on me, but I'm a bit shy to go out on it." she said shyly

"Don't worry sweetie, you got me." said Anita smiling. "And let me fix your hair for you and before that let's go take a shower!"

"Where's your dress? You haven't shown me!" said Olivia suddenly

"Here's it!" said Anita "is my gown beautiful?" asked Anita anxiously

"Very beautiful!" said Olivia smiled brightly and Anita was excited

"Thanks dear! Let's go shower!" said Anita

"Oh yeah!" replied Olivia and she pulled off the dress.

Olivia called her grandma before heading to the birthday party. She asked her firstly about her health before she finally told her about the birthday party. Her grandma warned her to be careful and not to take anything that's not good for a young girl like her. Olivia sighed and said. "Granny, trust me I won't do that...and take care of yourself for me, love you!" she hung the call and went out to meet Anita.

At the lounge everyone were all settled down waiting for the celebrant to comes in.

"What is taking Anita so long?" asked Cecilia from Alfred.

Cecilia Vega was Alfred best female friend both weren't dating but Cecilia wanted to be his girlfriend at all means. She didn't know what to do at first and she thought that might spoiled their friendship if she confessed her feelings to Alfred.

"I think it's that girl or what's her name again?" asked Alfred, he turned to Ben.

"Do you mean Olivia?" said Ben

"Yes Olivia." replied Alfred.

"Who is she?" surprised Cecilia.

And suddenly entered Anita with Olivia both walked in gorgeously. Olivia was dressed in short white gown and her hair was braided hairstyles with ribbons.

Anita was putting on blue gown with different costly jewellery on her body. She was putting on high heels and likewise Olivia too.

Olivia had never worn an high heel before. All her shoes are usually flat. Olivia never wanted to wear the heels Anita gave her but later gave in when Anita finally told her it looked perfect on the gown she was putting on.

They both walked inside looking like twin sister gorgeously dressed.

"Wow, Anita is so beautiful!" shouted Gloria and everyone turned to the door. Cece was dumbfounded while Henry was speechless

"Who is that girl standing beside Anita?" asked Gloria from her friend seated next to her

"I don't know, we both came here you know." replied Benita

Cecilia was jealous, especially towards Olivia putting on the same thing with Anita. She was looking pretty and she was curious who she was. She thought to herself inwardly. "Who's she? And Fred never mentioned her to me. Or maybe she's not important." she shrugged off it from her mind and pretended to smiled

"Whoa, finally you're here!" exclaimed Henry and hugged Anita gently. "Who's that pretty girl with you?" he asked Anita lowering his graze at Olivia.

"Oh sorry guys for the delay and this Olivia my new friend!" replied Anita smiling beautifully.

"Really?" Gloria and Brenda exchanged glances. Olivia greeted them briefly and she added with a gentle smiled, and that made Cece nervously
