The Bone of Contention
Their kiss was super sweet and David could feel the pleasant warmth spreading through his body and sparks traveling through him. He knew he had made Gustav happy, he could see it in his eyes and in his smile and he felt absolutely wonderful about it!
To be important to someone, to be loved by someone, was really something incredibly wonderful!
But even this wonderful kiss had to end at some point.
"Then what time will you take me to the festival?" asked Gustav smiling.
"The festival..." David had completely forgotten about it, or at least wanted to forget. It wasn't strictly a festival. A few stalls with trash, a lot of people. He hadn't enjoyed something like this since he stopped being a child. He would have been happiest to cancel the outing, but Gustav was obviously excited, so he couldn't cancel this date because it would feel like taking candy away from a child.
