I looked around my surroundings before running over to his truck. Taking a peek inside, I quickly realized the windows were covered up with some kind of silver material so I couldn't see anything. "Ryan, are you in there?" I banged my fist on the window.
Nothing.
"Ryan!" I banged again and heard the lock click and the passenger side swung open. Ryan sat there sipping on a coffee and reading a book, avoiding my gaze.
"You do realize what time it is right? Why are you out here?" He asked.
"I could ask you the same thing."
I climbed inside his truck and looked around at the mess of snacks and fast food wrappers surrounding us. "Are you...sleeping here?"
"Maybe."
I nudged his arm, making his coffee spill and earning an evil glare from him. "Stop pretending this is something normal like I didn't just catch you in a lie."
"What lie? I never lied to you." He whisper-yelled.
