Chapter 49: Bejeweled

As winter gave way to spring, it was beginning to get warmer which Kate was grateful for as she spent too many nights in the freezing cold waiting for Theo to adjust his telescope.

Even with layers of blankets, hot chocolate, and warming charms, Kate was still cold. Theo had ice water in his veins so he managed to still function while she could feel her brain turning to mush.

There was a comet appearing that night which always excited Theo. He had rediscovered his love for astronomy. After he tried and dropped different hobbies these past few months to see what he liked, he stuck to photography and yoga. The last one had been the biggest surprise especially because he got her into it.
