Chapter 45: Vigilante Crap

The coven decided that getting to the Green Mansion and painting the killing sigil there gave them the best chance at success. Driving from Massachusetts to Upstate New York and back was kind of a pain but they didn't want to run into the soul eater without getting one of the sigils done first.

Veronica could get them past the wards without any issues and she knew what time her parents would be leaving the house. It was Monday and her father would be busy at work with the Council and her mother would be having lunch with her socialite friends. It was almost criminal how easy it was to get into their property.

Being back at the Green Mansion was surreal for Kate who would be struck by memories everywhere she looked. It had been a second home to her for a little while. She hadn't wanted to set foot in that house again after Theo died. It felt like several lifetimes ago.
