Chapter 34: It's Nice To Have A Friend

They went through a whole pot of coffee and ate the last of the pizza by the time Theo and Kate finished explaining everything to Hari. The sun was rising and they were all exhausted. Hari had finished his last cup of coffee and was staring into his empty mug like it had the secrets of the universe. Kate watched him warily but Theo didn't look worried at all.

Hari ran a hand through his curly hair. "I can't believe I'm asking this but aside from the sex magic, what else are you able to do as an incubus?"

Theo's eyes flashed black for a second which made Hari nearly jump in his seat. "Aside from that, I haven't really been able to do anything else."

"Gen would probably be able to find something at the library about the folklore," Hari said. "I haven't heard anything about an incubus being bound to a specific person before."
