Chapter 33: It's Time To Go

Theo and Veronica saw the direness of their situation and leaped to find a way to get him out of the auditorium without the authorities noticing. Veronica went over to Dean Knox to start distracting him. Theo tried to hide behind people and not be noticed. Kate looked for Jess in the crowd and found her cousin talking to a few people.

She touched Jess's arm and said, "Could I talk to you for a minute?"

Jess gave a smile to the people she was talking to before coming with Kate. Kate led them away from most of the people so they wouldn't be overheard.

Jess asked, "What's up?"

"I need your help sneaking Theo out of here"

"Why?"

"If he gets checked over by the authorities, they might notice something about him so we can't let that happen."

"What would they find?"

Kate looked around nervously. Anyone could overhear them. She shook her head at her cousin and replied, "I can't explain here. Please help me get him out and I'll tell you after."
