Chapter 21: Invisible String

Kate knew she should feel more ashamed by the fact she didn't feel any shame at all about doing things with Theo in his father's office. Head Councilor Frost was busy with meetings and Theo had only come there to sign some paperwork. After Theo was done with the paperwork, he was going to wait for his Dad so they could have lunch. The meeting was going longer than expected.

Two years was a long time to miss and not see someone. It felt even longer when you had mourned for someone and thought you'd never see them again. Kate was impatient and greedy. Theo had half the mind to throw a silencing spell on the door before he pulled her unto his lap and kissed the life out of her.

He tasted the same. His grip was harder, desperate for contact. He had missed her too. And he had to pause kissing her to unzip the d*mn pencil skirt she was wearing because it was too tight to push out of the way. She stepped back and let it fall to the floor before she returned to his lap.
