Chapter 13: Question

*Three Years Earlier*

Kate hated Divination class. Professor Thompson was a nice woman if a little spacey and was most of the time quite a decent instructor. She was also an avid fan of the works of Morwenna LeClair and seemed to believe that Kate was going to grow up to be a Seer like her grandmother. Never mind that Kate had told her numerous times that she's never received any visions from the fates and only really did well in the class because she used to play around with her grandma's old Tarot deck at home with Jess when she was bored.
