Chapter Twenty Two ..the brain behind the designs

"Renata ,I have to go .I have to make new designs and present them to the board members this noon .

By the way ,your boss' office is in a mess .I think you should check up on him !"Eloise left for her office afterwards as Renata rushed into the office to check up on Jakes .

"She says she hates me Chilly but she still cared for my wounds .

I saw the pain in her eyes when she saw my blood .

She couldn't stand it at all ,Chilly .I won't stop at anything to make her mine again .I won't stop !" Jakes comfortably relaxed on his chair with crossed legs and played chess .

"Jakes ,Mer is back and that lady will be a big threat for you and Eloise's future .

She will also stop at nothing to make sure that you both get separated for good .

You know I've got the back of you and Eloise but what will you do about Mer ? "Renata switched to an unprofessional relationship with Jakes and they discussed the harm Meredith 's return will impose on Eloise's and Jakes' future . "Chilly , that's up to you to take care of.

Now if you are done here ,get the cleaner to tidy up both my office and lounge and prepare for the board meeting Renata .I want all those pictures reframed again and fixed on the wall like it used to ."

"Yes sir ,the meeting will start in thirty minutes time ...!"Renata left the office right after that .After the cleaner tidied up Jakes' entire office and put everything back into it's position ,he resumed to his seat and switched on monitor to watch what Eloise was up to in her office ."Oh God ! Why can't I concentrate on what i'm doing ? Why is everything going against me and hurting me ,huh ? "Eloise began to shed tears bitterly as she recalled everything that was happening to her within these two days of meeting Jakes ."No Eloise ,you can't get weak .He chose another woman over you and you can't cry for that .

You have to finish up these designs as soon as possible and rehearse on your presentation as well.

Jakes cannot have anything to say about you after this presentation ." Just when Eloise was swimming in a pool of thoughts , Inno sought permission and entered into her office with Eloise's concern . "Hey Miss luck , hope you are okay ?

Why are your bright eyes red ? Is anything the matter ? You look so down to my appeal this morning ? Do you want to talk ? " Inno threw numerous questions to Eloise who faked a smile across her face ."Hmm ! First of all ,thanks for yesterday's cappuccino and secondly ,thanks for the drive home .I may have seem to really bother you yesterday ,is it ?

Anyways ,thanks alot and I have something for you ." Eloise used the opportunity to properly wipe away her tears before Inno noticed it further and threw a pack of questions to her ."Here Inno ,here you go .I got these for you ...!"Eloise handed Inno a bag ."Oops ! Is that so ? What could probably be in it ? "Inno curiously asked ."Just open it once Inno .." Eloise resumed to her seat and wore her fake smile ."Wow ,a pack of Drizzle Corn Indiana popcorns ? How did you know they were my favourites ,miss luck ? " Inno happily asked ."I saw a finished pack of it in your car yesterday so I thought it might be your favourite and for that reason ,I got it for you .

Actually ,I got it through a promo night and I thought I should share .You know ,sharing is caring ."Eloise calmly said ."Thanks so much Miss Luck ,you are so generous .Also ,thanks for returning my files to me .I will complete my task immediately and send it to the board meeting in the afternoon ."

"There's no need to complete the tasks Inno because I have already done it . Yesterday ,our files were very much alike and so I mistakenly took both home and do you know the funny thing ?

I actually finished completing your designs before I realized that those were not mine , hehe !"Eloise giggled ."Oh no ! you could have just called me and I would have picked it up .

You didn't have to go through all that trouble to complete my designs ."Inno expressed his concern ."Inno ,I don't have your contact actually but nevertheless ,it wasn't much work .

Although ,I had to spend all night completing both tasks .I think that's why my eyes are red .I really feel sleepy Inno ...!" Eloise intentionally chipped in that so that Inno wouldn't ask further questions ."Thanks so much Miss Luck .Your name and beautiful face is really standing for luck .

Wow ! You actually made stunning designs for me .

I could have never thought of these.

You've made my work easier by making these turtle designs ."Inno flipped through the designs and smiled happily . "These were the designs I had in mind to mend that of the old designs the boss gave me but since it ended up in your files , I guess it's God's planning ." Eloise took a look at her watch and realized it was almost noon ."Oh my God ! We have to go to the meeting now ."Eloise packed up the necessities for the meeting and left immediately for the board room with Inno .

Inno started with his presentation and began explaining how turtle designs will be useful for the company ..."And so , that's the end of the presentation ."Inno added and an applause was given on his behalf ."Woww Inno ,after so long ,you've made such touching designs ,congrats ..!" Jakes sarcastically said as though he was teasing him .

"Actually ,the brains behind turtle designs is Miss Jenkins and not me .She made those designs and she deserves to be applauded .." Inno admitted the truth and gave Eloise the credit she deserves. "Really , Miss Jenkins ? did you make these designs ? "One of the board members asked ."Sir ,turtle designs is actually Inno's idea .The truth is I only expressed my thoughts on his designs and he generated the designs .
