Chapter Twenty Six ..just a matter of one night

"Renata ,you can't be serious ,are you ?

I have to go home tonight .I'm not his nanny to sit by him all night in the name of his drunkenness ,alright ? " Eloise told Renata who was busy chewing chicken wings at the end of the phone in her apartment .

"Oh come on Eloise ,stop behaving like you have parents who will scold you once you get home .

It's just a matter of one night and nothing else .

In fact ,my boyfriend is almost here and I have to go .If you won't take the address then you can sleep at where you have parked the car and looking at how the weather is , there's no way the heavy rains will stop so I'm hanging up now ." Renata said over the phone ."No wait Renata , don't hang up yet ,alright fine ,give me the address ." Eloise finally gave in to Renata's suggestion ." I will text it to you immediately .." Renata hanged up and texted the address to Eloise immediately . "Aww ,finally ,I could manage to make them stay together for the night .

I deserve to celebrate with these chicken wings ..!" Renata happily ate and drank her favourite wine to celebrate . Eloise however had a hard time sending Jakes to his apartment .

He was really heavy and drunk and so apparently ,all his weight fell on Eloise ."Oh God ! He's so heavy .You know ,you should sleep on this couch for a while ." Eloise opened the door using the swipe card in Jakes' wallet .He helped him into his bedroom and instead Jakes landed on top of her. "Oh damn ! He's so heavy .I can't even breath .." Eloise put in all her efforts to push Jakes' heavy body aside ."Don't go babe ,I love you .. don't leave me ..!"Jakes said in his drunkenness ."Oh God ! Is he dreaming ?

Of course ,I won't go anywhere ..!"Eloise used that to get him off her .She helped him take off his shoes and his heavy pullover .

She also helped clean his wet hair and body so that he could sleep peacefully . Considering her soaked wet dress ,she decided to pick some clothes from Jakes' wardrobe .

"Oh geez ! Isn't his bedroom enough to keep his clothes ? Why keep them in another room .These rich spoilt kids are so annoying sometimes ...!" Eloise looked through his clothing and picked up a simple black hoodie with a tracksuit .

Though they seemed baggy on her after putting them on ,she still wore it so that she could catch some warmth . "Oh geez !

I haven't closed his wardrobe yet ,let me go and close it .."Eloise decide to close it but stopped when she saw a picture that reflected in her eyes .

She shifted the clothes aside and saw a picture ."This is my picture of childhood and why has Jakes used it as a sticker in his wardrobe ? " Eloise closed the wardrobe and went back to Jakes' room only to see him sleeping like a little baby .

"Hmm ! Each time I try to hate you, something stops me and tells me that you are a good person .

But why does this happen to me ? If you really loved me then why did you break your promise ?

Why did you break my heart and shattered my hopes , Jakes?

Jakes ,I really want to believe that you love me but I don't know why I feel scared that you might hurt me again .I'm not ready to trade my heart again ,Jakes .I'm not ready ...!" Eloise covered Jakes fully with a blanket but she got know that he was still feeling cold and could catch up with fever if care was not taken ."Eloise ,what will you do now ?

You have to take off his wet shirt and singlet as well and put a dry pullover on him instead .

What kind of trouble is cooking up now in my life .Anyways ,I have no choice but to take off his shirt and put a new shirt on him .

This way ,he won't have fever by morning .You can do this Eloise! " Eloise contemplated with her thoughts and took off his wet shirt and singlet ."Oh damn ! Do I have to look at his bare chest ? "Eloise closed her eyes and picked a towel to clean him up like his nanny ."Oh God ! This is so hard but I can't clean him up with closed eyes .

Alright fine ,I will clean him up like his nanny ,no emotions !

One ,two ,three ...!"Eloise counted up to three and opened her eyes."ELOISE ? " ELOISE was tattooed on Jakes' chest with an attachment of love ."ELOISE ? Ha! He actually tattooed my name on his chest ? Did Jakes really do that ? Did he really keep this promise of this ? " Eloise's eyes became teary and recalled her conversation with Jakes when she turned sixteen .*"Hey babe , what's your idle man like ? Jakes asked Eloise over at the phone .

"Oh ,so the prince charming wants to know who my idle man ,is it ?

Alright fine ,I don't have anything big in mind but my idle man should be just who he is and nothing else .He should just be himself ." Eloise answered genuinely . "Mr .Prince Charming , what's your idle woman like ? "Eloise also asked curiously.

"My idle woman should be simple ,caring ,matured ,loving and she should scold me when I'm wrong .If I get my idle woman ,i will get her name tattooed on my chest with a very big love attached to it !

That way she will be in my heart forever ...!"*

"He indeed tattooed my name on his chest ?

Does this mean that I'm his idle woman ?

What is all this ? Is this part of your plan to get my attention or did you really fulfill your promise to me when I was just sixteen ?

I don't know what to think anymore but I guess I will get my answers once you wake up .

Yes ,I will master the courage and ask you all the questions bothering me ."Eloise continued to clean Jakes up until she herself fell asleep by his side on the bed .
