Chapter seventy nine..selfishness

"Here in Loyola Marymount University ,we train brains and humble students and not pride and arrogance . It's a university and you can choose to do anything you want because you have rights but here in Loyola Marymount University ,in as much as you have rights ,you are restricted by the principles of this university .

I hope you know that three more failures in your first year will only prove that you are not meant to be Loyola Marymount University . So if you guys aren't ready to work like a team and achieve great success here in Loyola Marymount University then ,your failures will only get you expelled from Loyola Marymount University ."Professor Hanson banged the scripts on Erica's table .

"Monalisa Susana Jenkins Riddles ,Sonya Mills and Josette Campo ,rise to your feet ."Professor Hanson said and they all rose up to their feet .

"I don't normally say this but you've not only earned my impression but also my recognition as well .

People like you three are what Loyola Marymount University looks forward to training .

And you Monalisa Susana Jenkins Riddles ,you are an epitome of your family's greatness and intelligence .I hope you don't back out with your performance because people like you will be a role model to others .

You emerged first in my thesis and to you Miss Campo and Miss Mills ,by emerging as second place equally in my thesis ,it just tells me that you are ready to study in Loyola Marymount University .Well done girls .The results of your thesis will be on the notice board and also on the Loyola parents news platform so that your parents will see your performances ."Professor Hanson handed them their scripts individually and then left the lecture hall .

"Oh geez ! I can't believe my eyes .I emerged second place , it's a miracle . It's a miracle ,argh !!! "Sonya shouted happily and even threw her script in the air and caught it .

Everyone looked at her with that kind of 'is she crazy ?'look .

"Sonya ,you are not the only one in the lecture hall so control yourself and let's not forget that it's all because of the tremendous efforts of our good teacher Mona!"Josette praised and Sonya out of happiness hugged her .

"You are the best ! "Sonya lifted Mona's right hand up and climbed the table telling everyone how good Suzzy is .

"Oh stop it girls ! You are making me feel shy ."Suzzy said and covered half of her face with her palm .

"Awwww! the Empress is shy . hahaha!"Josette and Sonya cheered Suzzy up with their teasing tone .

"Besides girls ,my daddy taught me and so he deserves the credit and not me ,okay ? "Suzzy revealed to her friends about her hidden teacher .

"Oh ! so your daddy taught you ,is it ? he's really a gem ."Josette said .

"Of course Josette ,he really is a gem .As a matter of fact ,Josette and I have always admired your father .He's really a gem like you are Mona ."Sonya added .

"Alright girls ,enough of the admires , let's go to the cafeteria and find something to eat .I've got all of you covered since we will cease this chance to celebrate.

Come on , let's go ..."Suzzy said .

"Oh my gosh ! I think I will save my money then " Sonya said and put her money back into her purse .

"Me too Sonya "Josette pushed her few dollars in her pocket .

"Alright MSJ , let's go .."Suzzy said and they picked up their bags and left for the cafeteria .

As soon as they left ,Erica and her friends caught their breaths .

"Look at them Erica ,they are really happy .They also beat us in class today though they missed class yesterday and all thanks to us .

That girl is really a genius and Sonya and Josette are using it to their advantage .Little brats .."Doreen scorned bitterly .

"What now Erica ? If I can clearly remember ,you were the one who drove us into this mess .And you Doreen ,have you forgotten so soon that we stand a risk of getting expelled from Loyola Marymount University because of Erica's stupidity ,huh ?

After all that happened yesterday ,I'm surprised you are still with Erica . We aren't her slaves and if you are afraid to say it to her face then I'm telling her right to her face that we aren't her slaves .

Because of the mess Erica drove us into ,I couldn't study anything yesterday when I got home hence ,I failed my thesis and my parents will get a hint of it .

What will I tell them when I get home, huh ? And it's all because of Erica Montgomery ,you drove us into this mess Erica and until we all go down together ,you won't take yourself out of this situation with your victimization drama like you used to do in high school ."Nadine spilled the bitter truth to Erica's face .

"What ! Nadine , don't try to wash your hands clean off this matter by blaming me .I thought we were all a team here ,huh ?

So what happened now ? You want to betray us for your own selfishness ,huh ? Okay then Nadine ,go and don't come begging for acceptance to be part of the MONT DRAGONS okay ? "Erica said to Nadine angrily .

"Ha! she isn't the only one living the MONT DRAGONS Erica ,because I am too ."Debbie said and held Nadine's hand .

"What ? you too ? Debbie ,you are betraying me for Nadine ?

Me? Erica Montgomery ? Are you betraying our team ?

This team is the only team that gave you dominance and you are betraying this team because of Nadine's selfishness ? "Erica questioned her friends with all furiousness .

"You are the selfish one here Erica Montgomery . Everything we've done for this team was for your own advantage and not all of us .

We never achieved anything walking with you other than trouble .In order to fulfill your stupid obsession of being top over everyone ,we have gone through several troubles of which you always backed out and claimed you are the victim ."Debbie said , gritting her teeth.
