Chapter Seventy five.. burning the midnight candle

Eloise also stood at the balcony of her window in the Jenkins Mansion at Claremont and looked at the beautifully moving skies filled with alot of stars and the dimly lit moon which shone and threw it's reflection on her gorgeous face .

"Suzzy ,my baby ,mummy misses you so much .

I swear that I will come back for you and we will stay together happily like we used too .

Mummy promises you this my baby ! "Eloise thought of her good old days with her daughter .

At the same time in the Riddles Mansion ,Jakes stood in his balcony with two photographs in his hands .One of Eloise and the other if Suzzy's .

"I won't stop at anything to have my family back .Eloise my love ,I will do my best to earn your forgiveness so that we both give our daughter the complete family she wants .

I will mend all my mistakes and bring my family together ."Jakes breath in the fresh air and thought further about what to do to make his family complete and happy .

While Suzzy stood in her balcony built-up in thoughts , her phone rang .

🎶 It's been a long day without you my friend and I will tell you all about it when I see you again .🎶 Suzzy's phone rang continuously and she run to pick it up .

"Hello girls .."Suzzy waved her friends in a video call .

"OMG Mona ! have you seen your followers on IG and twitter ? You've hit six million followers in just six hours ."Sonya showed elation at her end throwing popcorns into her mouth .Of course ,she never goes without her food .

"Mona ,I think we should celebrate "Sonya said at the other end again .

"The news about Erica Montgomery's hashtag face popped red is really trending ,I'm sure right now ,she wished she could have buried her head in her pillow hehe ! "Josette said .

"Girls ,just relax .We will surely celebrate for our victory but first ,we have to derive a way by which we can tackle the trade and commerce before the celebration ."Suzzy also said at her end .

"You are right Mona , I've tried my heart out but I can't seem to understand .Budgets and costs is just a whole pack of trouble on my head ."Sonya at the other end said while still chewing her popcorns .

"All this is none other than that bitch's fault .Erica Montgomery and her friends are all just pieces of heartless breeds .

Argh ! their names suck "Josette said in despite .

"Anyways girls ,I think we can meet up early morning tomorrow to discuss the trade and commerce .

I feel Professor Hanson might make us write a thesis tomorrow ."Josette once again suggested .

"Well ,I have no problem girls , anything you decide on is more than comfortable for me ."Sonya made her stand about the suggestion .

"I will buy into your idea girls ,alright then , see you tomorrow and don't forget to sleep well . Goodnight "Suzzy said and the video call was hanged up .

Throughout the night ,Suzzy burnt the night candle to understand the trade and commerce .

"You are still awake princess ...?"Jakes walked into the room .

"Sorry ,I saw that the lights of your room were lit so I entered to see what you were up to ."Jakes explained his reason for being in Suzzy's room .

"It's no problem daddy and besides you are also awake because of work related issues right?

You should grab some rest daddy because after all you are the President of Riddles Cooperation and you don't need to stress yourself up .

Apparently ,I feel as if you work more than your employees and your handsome face is already getting wrinkled daddy ,you should grab some rest ."Suzzy told Jakes who stood at the door with both hands in his pockets .

"My face winkled ,ha! you are just exaggerating princess .My face is as fresh and cute as yours .

Like father ,like daughter ! "Jakes sat beside Suzzy on his sofa .

"Oh my cute daddy ,I seriously mean it and yes ,your handsome face is as cute and nice as mine but you need to take rest daddy .

As for me ,I'm a student and I have to burn the night candle to achieve great success like you in Loyola Marymount University and the entire world .

Right now ,I'm actually at my wit's end with trade and commerce ."Suzzy closed her eyes for a while stretching on her sofa .

"Okay , let me have a look at what has caught my princess at her wit's end ."Jakes picked the book and began reading through the pages .

"Oh ,so it's about budgets and costs .I see , there's no problem then ."Jakes said and flipped through the pages of the book .

"No problem ? "Suzzy asked and lazily sat upright on the sofa .

"Earlier you chose to be my driver so now I will be your teacher ."Jakes said .

" Oh geez daddy ! that was one hell of a slightest thought that could cross my mind .

But really ? will you really help me out ? "Suzzy asked passing her hands on her face .

"Why not princess ? let's get back to the drawing board ."Jakes taught Suzzy all the basic tactics of trade and commerce and throughout the night ,both father and daughter burnt the night candle together on trade and commerce .

Suzzy woke up the next morning and quickly dressed up and descended downstairs .

"Good morning Ida .."Suzzy happily greeted her .

"Good morning Miss Mona ,you are up so early today . It's just thirty minutes past five in the morning ."Ida said while tidying up the hall .

"Ida ,I have a project at school I need to attend to and for that matter ,I will have to leave early .My friends might be waiting for me already .

I got to go , explain this to daddy and grany when they wake up ."Suzzy was all set up to go .

"Wait Miss ,but what about breakfast ? You know what ,you just wait here ,I will package some food for you and your friends ."After five minutes , Ida had come with packaged meals for Suzzy and her friends .
