Chapter Ninety Eight ..our complete family

"Baby , don't tell me you feel bored because your daddy left for Korea and cancelled your outing ?

As a matter of fact , that's why I'm here ,your mother will take you anywhere you wish like we used to do it in Belton .

This is not an unforseen circumstance because very more than often ,he will attend business trips like this and he will spend months on his trip .

That's why ,I'm proposing you stay with me ,your mother .I will have the time in the whole world to take care of you ."Eloise planted that in her daughter's memory .

"By the time you return from Korea Jakes ,you will see how far your daughter has driven away from you .This is my chance to get her on my side .."Eloise thought while Suzzy slept calmly at the backseat of the car .

Once Suzzy woke up from her sleep ,they were already in the Claremont Museum of Art .Both mother and daughter walked through the large halls of the museum admiring the nice pieces of art works that was been exhibited on the walls .

Walking through the general , natural history and natural science ,science and technology and the history section ,they finally got to the art section where all the most beautiful art pieces were been displayed .

"Do you want to paint ? "Eloise asked and handed Suzzy a pallet of different colored paints and a few brushes .

"Thank you but no ,I don't want to paint ."Suzzy put all the tools down and back to its position from where Eloise took them from .

"Ever since your childhood ,the only thing you've wanted to do was to paint .You always wanted to paint your emotions out and so I bought you so many sketchpads that got full up in every week .. hehe!

You told me that when you grow ,you and your paintings will be all over the world and especially on bill boards ,is that not what you wanted to do ?

Then why don't you want to paint now ? I want to see you fulfill your dreams .This is your life ,you can quit business administration and live your dream and I will be here to support you .

Baby , there's no need for you to do what you are not comfortable with alright ? Listen to mummy and start living your dream once again ."Eloise cuddled Suzzy's cheeks with her teary eyes and concerned face .

"Business Administration is cool and I love it however you are right mummy ,painting is my dream and I must live it ."Suzzy picked up the tools once again and started painting of which Eloise recorded everything .

At the end of it all ,Suzzy painted a family which consisted of her mother ,father and herself .

"From childhood ,I had always painted you and I and I even assumed my father but now ,I have finally found my father so i painted him as well to form a complete family ; our complete family .I hope that one day ,we will become like this painting I've made mummy ."Suzzy hugged Eloise tightly .

"She thinks that we will be a complete family in the future but her father is busily getting his attorney to annul our marriage which has been hanging since the past eighteen years .

What do I do now ? Should I tell her the truth ?

No Eloise ,you can't do that because she will be hurt ,very hurt ."Eloise thought while hugging Suzzy tightly .

In order to cheer Suzzy up ,she applied some of the paint on Suzzy's face and Suzzy did same to her as well .

"I love you so much baby .."Eloise hugged Suzzy do tightly again .

"I love you more mummy , I love you like the moons and the stars..."Suzzy's words made Eloise smile .

"Alright now baby , let's go and continue our enjoyment at the other fun places of Claremont ."Eloise wiped off the paint from her face with her moist mint tissue .

"But mummy ,the painting is still on the wall ,everyone will see it .

I think we should clean it .."Suzzy suggested but Eloise stopped her .

"There's no need baby ,others will come and watch your painting as an exhibit too so do one thing ,just put autograph at the side of the painting so that others see it ."Eloise also suggested .

"You sure about this mummy ? "Suzzy asked again .

"One hundred percent sure baby ,do it now , don't be afraid ,I'm with you ."Eloise assured Suzzy confidently .

"Okay ,if you say so mummy ."Suzzy appended the design of a butterfly shape and inscribed MSJR under it at the lower side of her painting .

"MSJR and a butterfly - shaped design ? "Eloise asked looking at Suzzy's autograph quite surprised .

She didn't want to pass her hands on the design in order not to destroy it since it was still wet and a bit sticky .

"Yes ! MSJR and a butterfly -shaped design just like my butterfly birthmark at the back of my neck .

So it's simply Monalisa Susana Jenkins Riddles and a butterfly -shaped design .My autograph ! "Suzzy said .

"Nice ..so nice ! "Eloise still admired the design .

"By the way mummy ,I have to give you this ,you need it because it's yours ."Suzzy handed over to Eloise her pendant that she once gave to her .

Suzzy even explained what she and Jakes found out about the pendant and finally helped Eloise wear it .

"Thank you baby ,thank you so much ."Eloise hugged her one more time .

The duo then extended their outing journey to the Claremont Hills Park of Wilderness and then to the Claremont 5 mile loop journey .

"Woww ! this place is nice .Are we seriously going to climb that ,mummy ? "Suzzy asked as the winding trail for hiking and mountain biking provided moderate elevation and dramatic views .

"Yeah ,we will .We will first go for a hiking expedition and then the mountain biking because I know how you love both hiking and biking ."

Eloise and Suzzy hiked the 5 mile loop and after taking rest ,they went for mountain biking .

They both took numerous pictures during their expeditions .
