Chapter Fifty Seven ..good terms

"Good morning princess .."Jakes said to Suzzy with a broad smile on his face .He pulled off the curtains to one side so that Suzzy would get a fresh relief from the rising sun .

"Good morning .."Suzzy said with her syrupy voice and stretched herself .

She began dressing her bed as soon as she woke up .

"I thought you were already dead since you desired to die yesterday .

What happened ? Did you resurrect or did the bullet miss you ? "Suzzy asked and still dressed her bed . However ,Jakes held the other end of the blanket since it was a bit heavy for Suzzy to spread on her bed .

"Sorry for what happened yesterday .I should have thought about your emotions first but I didn't .I'm so sorry ,if you want to hate me the more then you can because I know that I'm such a jerk ."Jakes said as he helped Suzzy spread the blanket on the bed .

"A jerk ? no you aren't .On the contrary I am the jerk because here I was speaking so lowly of you for abandoning mother and I but I get to realize that she even wants to use me as a tool of exacting her vengeance on you .

I'm not saying that what you did to us to right ,I'm only saying that at least my mother could have thought about my emotions first so I 'm the jerk .

I apologize for all the harsh words I said to you some days ago .

So sorry Jakes .Now tell me ,are we still friends or you are backing off from our friendship ?" Suzzy apologized and stretch forth her hands to shake Jakes in order to seal their friendship .

"Friends ..!"Jakes shook Suzzy's hand ."Anyways , don't forget that your mother loves you alot ."Jakes told Suzzy who was arranging her books .

"So you said I'd go to college today right ?

So I will go and prepare and since we are on good terms now ,I guess you will take me to college or ..? "Suzzy asked unsure .

"Of course .I've cancelled all my schedules for this morning so that I can take you to college myself .

The last admission to college was yesterday however I've already bought your forms .

So don't worry .."Jakes happily said to his daughter who was now his friend .

"Tell me something Jakes ,why did you choose Business Administration for me ?

The truth is I wanted to study Art History so that once I'm done with college ,I can have my own art gallery .

This has always been my dreams but don't worry ,I will study Business Administration if that's what you me to .No stress ..hehe ! "Suzzy giggled understandingly to study Business Administration .

"No need to shut down your dreams for mine .

You can study Art History in college .The truth is I bought all these books for you to study Arts History .

I don't want you to do something you won't like in the future .

So Instead of Business Administration ,you will study Art History and once you are done ,you will get an art gallery of your own .

I believe in your dreams .."Jakes said and pulled Suzzy's chubby cheeks .

"No ,I won't study Art History because I've been reading the Business Administration books you bought for me and I like them .

Why don't we do this ? umm ! I can pick up an extra course on weekends so that I study Art History .

When that comes ,I will be very happy .Think about my idea ,if it doesn't cost you then can you do that for me please ? "Suzzy asked Jakes childishly .

"You need not ask princess ,if that's what you want then I will do it for you .Happy now ? "Jakes asked Suzzy who was smiling all over .This gave him pleasure in his heart .They were both on good terms now .

"Okay fine , I'd leave . Please get down soon .."Jakes said and left the room .He descended the stairs happily and all the maidservants were giggling among themselves about why he's probably happy .

In all new dailies , magazines , television stations and on all social media bloggers platforms ,everyone spoke about Jakes and his family .

Again , it has been printed in all magazines .

In fact , it's the talk of the city and several media persons want to have interviews with your whole family ." Morris ,the head of the social media department in Riddles Cooperation gave Jakes the good news .

"Morris , you've done a good job .Before you leave , I'd like you to leave all the interviews and press conferences to Renata .

She will know how to schedule things out . Right now ,I have to take my daughter to college and when I come back ,we will discuss what's next in the office .

By the way ,I hope you have put things in place to set up the throw factory ,we can't waste anymore time on it ."Jakes told Morris about the necessity of the throw factory .

"Yes sir ,my team and I are still on it .Alright sir ,I will take my leave now ."He left the mansion as soon as he was done with his work with Jakes .

After the lavish party thrown to welcome Suzzy back home the night earlier ,Jakes did not only reveal about his relationship with Suzzy but also with the Eloise to the general public .

The general public sees Eloise as Jakes' wife but they have no idea about their separation .
