Chapter Eleven..Stressful night

"Her designs have no appeal but however ,I'd like you to go through it .

Bring a report of what you can make of it to me tomorrow and I will be right here waiting ,Miss Jenkins!"Jakes handed Eloise the files .

"Alright Chairman Riddles ,your job will be done !" Eloise left the office quickly .

"I know you are very mad at me Eloise but I won't rest until I fulfill every promise I made to you during our childhood days .

I will surely marry you because you are the one that I have truly loved my whole life .

If that includes drawing you closer to me as my employee ,I will do it but at all cost ,I will surely marry you and make you mine Eloise !" After Jakes thought about this ,he stood by his window at the office on the fourth floor and watched Eloise walk swiftly on the pavement "Oh damn ! I'm getting tired already in these heels .Why didn't I wear a simple shoe instead ?

After all ,today has been my bad day .I shouldn't have met with him ,I shouldn't have met with that liar !

Oh God ,why can't you just take Jakes Riddles out of my way ?!

I have wasted twelve years of my life loving a jerk and a liar ,I can't let him deceive me again !"

When Eloise felt the pain in her legs ,she took off her heels and held them in her hands and walked barefooted on the pavement .

"Jakes Riddles ,you are such a jerk and I won't stop till I prove to you that I hate you !

Oh grandfather ,you were right ,Jakes Riddles has nothing better installed for me .Right now ,I have to work hard to prove to you that Jakes is my past ! I need that job and the salary is worth it ,at least ,I can pay that menopausal land lady of mine who is always pestering me about her rent .I don't get why apartments in Beverly Hills are so expensive .

But don't worry grandfather ,once I receive my first salary ,I will buy the most expensive wreath and lay it on your tomb .

I will come and visit you almost every weekend when I get my salary because you deserve it .

You know grandfather ?

I can't visit you this weekend because I don't have money for the tickets but I promise you that by the next weekend of next month ,I will come and pay you a visit .

Also I will pay Betty and her parents a visit ,you know they were of great help to us when we were in Belton .Oh damn ! grandfather ,I have finally walked to the bus station with my thoughts .

You know in the morning ,I had a few dollars to board a cab to the firm but since I have had no food to eat this evening ,I kept the few dollars for food .I'm really hungry ,alright grandfather , it's finally time to keep you back into my purse ,I'm going to board a bus home !" Eloise placed her grandfather's photograph back into her purse and walked towards the Metro Los Angeles Bus moving from Santa Monica to Beverly Hills .As she was about entering ,an old woman came in the way .

"Oh ma'am ,you can enter into the bus ."Eloise told the old woman ."But my dear , it's only left with one seat in the bus and you came before me so I will wait for the next bus in two hours since i'm old and I cannot stand in the bus ."The old woman added .

" There's only one seat left before the bus moves to Beverly Hills .

Which of you are purchasing the tickets ?"The sales man asked Eloise and the old woman who stood helplessly beside her ."Sir ,give the ticket to the woman instead .As for me ,I'm young and youthful and I can wait for the next bus in two hours time !"

"But my dear ,are you sure about this ? You need to go home too and by this time ,your parents are waiting for you . Don't worry ,I will wait for the next bus which will arrive in two hours ."The old woman persisted . "Ma'am ,I live alone and trust me ,I won't have a problem waiting at all for the next two hours . Alright now ,no arguments about this ma'am .

Mr .Sales man ,please give her the ticket " Eloise also persisted until she made the old lady take the tickets . "My dear young lady , your daughter will one day enjoy the fruits of your labour today .

I know you don't have a daughter now but surely ,your first born child will be a girl and she will be the reason for your happiness as well as her father's .If a day comes when she's supposed to go to her father then let her go and don't stop her .

Your daughter will stand out among all people and she will be recognized all around the world .

Always remember this my dear even though you don't understand my words today . I promise you ,you will understand in the future when the day comes ." Eloise helped the old lady board the bus and thanked her for her encouragement ."Back to square one grandfather ,I had to sacrifice for the elderly like you taught me but she was saying something about my future but anyways ,I will understand in the future grandfather since it's all about the future .

Right now , it's me ,your picture and my wild thoughts ."Once Eloise felt she was thinking too much especially about Jakes ,she decided to look into the files that Jakes handed her earlier to look into while she sat on the waiting bench at the bus station ."What kind of a designer did they employ earlier ? All these designs are boring and less classy .

There's alot of work to be done on these designs and that jerk wants me to present them to him tomorrow . How brutal of him ?

Who finishes too much work within one night ?

It will be a stressful night ,I guess !"
