Chapter 132.. I'm not going insane

"I know what Chance did was wrong .But he's now responsible with a family and a name of his own .He loves me now and his children .

Can we please settle this now .."Irene said again .

"Irene ,so you are still fooling yourself ,huh ?

How sure are you that this bastard here still loves you ,Irene ?

Right from highschool to college , you've been the only one who convinced yourself that there could be something between you two .

You knew that he never loved you and even now ,he doesn't love you so stop convincing yourself that he has some feelings for you ."Jakes said and this crashed Irene's hopes .

"Jakes ,enough now ! "Eloise whispered to him .

"No , now that they want us to settle things ,it means that there should be no secret left untold .

I'm just making sure that this son of a bitch here has no feelings for you anymore but there's no doubt that he doesn't even love his wife .

The only reason Chance got married to you is because you were expecting his child from that one night stand between you two at Las Vegas .

You knew that since Chance's father had passed away , it'd be his weakness to fall prey to you and that's why you took advantage of that but what happened after that ?

He still pursued my wife after your marriage knowing that you both had a son together .

So tell me Irene ,what guarantee do I have that it will not happen again if I give in to his demand ,huh ?

I completely trust my wife but do you trust your husband ?

Have you forgotten so soon that if you lose Chance then your father's soul will even mock at you ,huh ?

Because the only right decision you made that your father saw it worth it was when you married Chance so please don't tell me to make amends with such a person alright ? "Jakes angrily said .

"Enough now ! the past is in the past now .

There's no way a mother would look at both her sons fighting to death so enough now.

I've arrived at a very important decision and that's we would mend whatsoever there is between both our families .

What Chance did wouldn't repeat itself again and there's no way ,both of you would do something behind your backs again .

You are all grown enough to make your decisions because you all have a family of your own now so I hope that your decisions only benefit your families ."Dora pointed out the faults and mended the long broken relationship .

"Thanks aunty .."Chance said hugging Dora .

"Ha! this is unbelievable mum , you've mended things up with them ?

I'm even feeling suffocated here .."Jakes walked away and Eloise followed him.

"It's okay ,you know where his anger levels can rise to at times but he will eventually calm down now that Eloise is with him .

Irene ! Chance ! meet Nicholas Jenkins and Stephanie Jenkins , Eloise's parents .

Nick and Steph ,meet Chance Hamilton ; my godson and his wife Irene Hamilton ."Dora introduced both parties to each other .

At the parking lot of the hospital ,Jakes was angry and he was finding it difficult to control himself so angrily that he was hitting his legs against the car tyre.

"Stop it Jakes ! I said stop it ! "Eloise pulled him to face her .

"I can't believe mum mended things up with that betrayer .

How could she do that ? I can't believe she chose her godson over me , her real son !

That woman is so unbelievable , she always chooses Chance's side over mine especially after the untimely demise of his mother but I'm her son not him ! Not that bastard son of bitch ! "Jakes hit his legs hard on the car tyre this time angrily .

"Are you done talking ? Will you hear me out now ?

Look handsome ,if you get angry then your face becomes like the beautiful devil himself .

If you are worried that you will lose me then don't even dream about it because that will never happen .

Look at me , I'm only yours and I will remain yours till my last breath .

At least , let's worry about our daughter now and how we will both make it up to her once she's discharged from this hospital okay .

Now smile at least or else I will pull your cheeks like a kid..hehe ! "Eloise hugged Jakes lovingly .

Jakes and Eloise went back into the hospital when he was completely calm .

"Okay fine ! You and I can become friends again but it wouldn't be my fault if next time I break your face and send you to hell for the same reason that got us separated for eighteen years ."Jakes said gritting his teeth.

"Sure ! "Chance patted his back happily .

"We can start with your son ,Dacre Harvey has lifted up the suspension placed on him as well as the others .

So he can even go to class even now .."Jakes said to Greg who was standing by his mother's side .

"Really uncle ? Thanks so much .."Greg hugged Jakes who felt a bit uncomfortable but didn't push him away ,instead patted his back like a real man .

"I hope you don't misbehave next time with my granddaughter Greg .."Dora wanted an assurance from Greg .

"Certainly not grandma Dora .."Greg assured .

"Thanks alot Jakes and you too Eloise ,I will not forget this favour that you've done for my son .

I assure you that he won't misbehave with your daughter ever again .

I give you my word .."Irene also added .

After a while , Doctor Madeline Miller brought the psychologist she recommended for Suzzy to her hospital room after her parent's consent .

Since she was already awake and looking into the ceiling sadly ,Doctor Miller introduced the psychologist to her .

"Miss Riddles , I've brought the psychologist here so that she talks to you .

I will leave you both alone for a while ."

"Ha ! I'm not going insane Doctor so take her away before I lose it on her too ."Suzzy angrily said but the psychologist signalled Doctor Miller to leave them both alone .
