Onoki had accepted the idea Ren proposed, the idea of having the Uzumaki clan as a part of the hidden stone was just too good.

the Uzumaki clan was a bloodline clan that any of the great villages would want in their midst, the truth of the matter was, the reason that the Uzumaki was being annihilated was that the other great villages knew that the Uzumaki clan wouldn't betray the leaf.

Moving quickly away from the stone village a small shadow could be seen moving at high speeds, with how small the shadow was it could be mistaken for a child, but its speed told a different story.

This statement immediately put the masked man on guard as he jumped back creating more space between himself and Onoki.

" Okay, Root will intercept all communications from the land of whirlpool starting a day before the attack, no information about the attack on Uzushiogakure will reach the leaf village until the Uzumaki clan is no more.

The masked man was immediately put to sleep under the effect of Ren's Jutsu.

" From what he said it's easy to understand that the whole upper essolont of the leaf isn't aware of the plans against the Uzumaki clan." says Onoki

turning his attention to Onoki, Ren speaks.

" it's very likely that the Hokage doesn't even know about these plans." says Ren

"I've met Sarutobi, it's hard to believe he doesn't have control over the village he's supposed to control, but anything is possible." says Onoki

" You are right, but it isn't just the Hokage.

"You've met the members of his old team right?" asked Ren

" I have, you mean one of them is behind it?" asked Onoki

"No matter how foolish the Hokage might be it is impossible for a group like Root to form in his village without his knowledge, Root from what they plan to do has a decent number of members, my guess is the Hokage actually ordered this group to be formed and appointed a leader, but the person he appointed took the opportunity to create a force loyal only to himself." says Ren
