Chapter 1 - Prologue

TAP.. TAP.. TAP...

Tapping sounds filled the air, as the woman's fingers glide all across the keyboard, poking the keys with the corresponding letters.

The one using said keyboard? Her name is Alice Lee. Long burnet and slightly wavy at the end hair that ends above the waist, and caramel eyes matching with it. Petite body with a soft complexion, and to top it all off, long eyelashes that compliments her every being.

She was the apple of the eye. People would stop and look at her face for a minute thinking- "she's beautiful.."

Most think that she enjoys being flocked over by men and women alike, but it's nothing like that at all. In fact, she wishes that none of the attention was on her. It disrupts her and her day. Alice feels uncomfortable being around such large crowds, it always feels like their stares are not the ones that are in awe but in judgement.

That's why she's a work at home, working at home has a lot of advantages. No need to waste money on commute to her workplace if she applied to work inside the comfort of her home, and she doesn't need to wear any business suits. A good 'ole baggy shirt and sweatpants are good enough in an environment such as her own apartment.

Other than just her normal work, bluegh.. She has a side job that she herself can set her own deadline or not, and that is being a novelist! It's lots of fun expressing her thoughts and ideas into words in which people can read. Alice's works have some minor recognition, but that's no problem! Some recognition already satisfies her by lots.

Of course, she wouldn't have been a novelist without reading any novels herself. The other writers inspired her to pursue writing as a hobby and side job, now she makes some money out of it.

But right now, she's not doing any of those, for she is doing paperwork. There was a new investors that they're trying to win over from other competitions so the CEO made a party to organize and make a presentable presentation to the investors, it will greatly help their company if they get that deal so that's why they were putting it all into this, and yes Alice is in the party that is leading this. Good thing that their leader is a perfectionist and is a very hardworking person who makes all their work easier.

But of course they will never slack off, or else the CEO will fire them on the spot if they don't contribute to this project.

Alice is almost done with her work, just a few touch ups here and there anndddd! Done! She's ready for the runway! And by runway she meant novels!! She's currently reading this one novel named 'Llestr Arall' and it has lots of negative reviews for some reason even though it's a really really good novel, it's just the people don't acknowledge it's amazing writing like her.

Seriously, hating the novel because it's ending is bad according to the reviews, what kind of ending does it even have to get them to not recommend it? Well- yes, she's still halfway but she's sure it's not that bad! People are just overreacting!

Never mind, it was so messed up what the actual flying duck? It started good with the MC meeting the ML and falling in love, face hardship and gain more companions along the way, but that was just the first half of the novel, where she stopped before. Because my gosh it gets dark from there..

The MC's little sister is actually the Villainess and tortured to death the MC like how messed up right?! But not only that, the ML got so furious when he found out that he decidedly murder the Villainess in cold blood and hung her head in the wall like some kind of deer trophy! EW EW DISGUSTING!

He even didn't cleaned the disembodied body part and just kept it there smelly and blood dripping down the walls. Now she understands why all the people who read this novel were upset, because she is too. The ML wasn't even charged with anything! Alice really thinks that this Villain death was the worst in novel history.

She flexed her body, sitting on her chair for a long time made her back ache. Alice released a satisfied sigh from the stretch. Her tummy just hard to growl in afterwards, she groaned in annoyance. Why do humans need to eat food? but she's kind of glad that she can because food is delicious.

When she stood up though, Her vision started to blur and she is feeling this stupid headache coming out of the shadows. Trying to balance herself with the table, but it's too late, and before she knew it, she already passed out.

....

Drifting through a silent void of nothingness, no sound, no smell, no nothing. It felt peaceful, Alice didn't want this feeling to disappear, it's something she couldn't experienced since she turned into her adulthood. But of course, nothing lasts forever because light suddenly shone through her eyelids.

Alice squinted her eyes open, her vision hasn't cleared up yet, the floor felt nice for some reason. It felt so soft and fluffy, like she was laying on a cloud- waiitttttt- it's a floor why the DUCK does it feel so fluffy??? She rubbed her eyes and cleared up her view, and she realized that she's not on the floor or her own home at all!

This room looked super duper fancy, like in the 80's era with all those hierarchy still around. Fancy gold littered the room's design, she's not sure if that's real gold or not but probably is..

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK...

"Young Miss, may I come in?" A woman's voice asked from outside the room she, Alice is currently residing in. 'oh quack...' she gulps, she wasn't expecting to meet anyone! And did she say Young Miss?! Oh god is this room is owned by someone important?!

"Uhm, Young Miss Alizia? Are you alright?" The person at the other side had this worried tone when they spoke another time.

Alizia....? Isn't that the name of the Villainess who died a very gruesome death in the novel she just read..? Wait... Oh no, did she.. No. It's impossible to transmigrate like in those novels right? She does need to answer that woman, so why not?

"Ah- c-come in!" She stuttered, and the door did open to reveal a woman in a maid dress. "Good morning Young Miss Alizia, may I prepare the bath now?" The maid inquired. She did transmigrate didn't she?
