Charlotte's POV

"Mom, Dad, It's my wedding today!" I screamed out of happiness, and they just shut their ears because they didn't want to be deaf.

"God! Charlotte. I'm not planning to go deaf today!" Mom said, removing her hand from her ear. I jumped on her and hugged her tightly.

"You won't understand my happiness because you got married to dad because you were in love with him. While I'm getting married to him because he's my crush."

"Exactly. That's my point. You are just 25 years old. I'm sure you will find someone who will love you truly. I can't believe that you're getting arranged married with your crush instead of traveling around the world and finding your true love, your true soulmate."

"I'm not a werewolf like you, remember? So, I'm not wasting my time on soulmates and all things when my crush sends a marriage proposal for me?" I chirped. "And not to forget! You guys have already checked his background, and there is no problem with it."

"I will suggest that it's not too late, Princess. You should wait for your soulmate.", Mom sighed.

"Seriously, mom? You are asking me all this on the day of my wedding?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"Okay, fine! I will send Scar along with the beauticians in your room.", She said, raising her hand in surrender and leaving the room, pinching my cheek.

I then looked at my father, who had been observing for a long without uttering anything.

"I hope you don't mind your mother's words, babygirl."

"No, dad. I knew since she is a werewolf, so she believes in mate, mate bond, soul mate, and all the things, but I don't get all these things. Maybe because I never met someone who can make my knee feel like jelly, heart in my mouth, butterflies in my belly, a spark in my whole body, etc., etc. So, I know that she is right at her place. While I'm right at my place."

"I hope you find your love in your crush."

"Obviously, and I have heard that after marriage, everyone falls in love."

"Still, being in a marriage and being in love are two different things. If you know, you know.", He explained, on which I kept staring at him for a while, trying to process in my mind what he just said!

He leaned and kissed my temple before leaving the room. After a moment, my cousin Scarlet walked into my room holding two beautiful wedding gowns, with a big grin on her lips.

If you were thinking why she was carrying two gowns in her hands, then let me tell you that she was also getting married to her boyfriend along with me.

"Lotte choco pie! I'm so excited.", She grinned, giving me a tight hug. "I'm feeling so lucky to marry the person I love.", She expressed her happiness on which I genuinely smiled for her.

While at the same time, I felt that did I was doing something wrong by thinking of marrying someone whom I didn't love, and I was sure that he, too, had no feelings for me.

I meant at least not the 'LOVE' feeling for me.

'Because I have seen how people react when they are in love. I don't need to go far away to see how the people in love react. After all, there are so many lovebirds in my home.'

Finally, after hours of hard work!!

Both the Princesses were ready!

Now, all they had to do was to wait for their prince charming!!

"You look so beautiful, Lotte Chocopie! I wish I would have your violent eyes.", She commented.

"Oh! Please. You don't have to boast unnecessarily. We both know that you're more beautiful than me! I mean, you have a killer figure, just like a model, while I'm some healthy panda.", I muttered, looking at myself in the mirror and pulling my belly inside by holding my breath.

Hmm! I looked great like this.

But the moment, I released my breath. The extra fat on my belly returned.

I was beautiful; at the same time, I was a healthy girl. I was 70 KG at the height of 5'6. At the same time, Scarlet's height was the same as mine, but her weight was under 60 KG. I wished, I really wished to get a figure like her.

Immediately Scarlet hugged me, holding my shoulder. "Always remember that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. You don't have to be like me for someone to love you. You just have to be like you to be loved. And I'm sure that you will find that person one day who will love you even when you will gain 30 KG more.", She winked on which my eyes widened.

"30 KG? You want me to break the record of two digits." I asked in shock, pushing her hand away from my shoulder and was ready to hit her. She ran from here and there while I ran behind her.

"My would-be groom is already here. Where's your boyfriend?" I asked Scarlet, who looked disturbed.

"I don't know. I'm trying to reach him, but his number is off.", She muttered in tension.

I stayed by her side and wanted her silently. She was on the verge of crying, but she was somehow trying to be strong.

What could be the reason that her groom, aka her boyfriend, was not here?

She walked out of the room, holding her mobile. I wanted to follow her, but then I didn't want to pry at the same time.

I just hoped that her boyfriend would just ditch her at this moment when she was going to walk down the aisle.

After an hour, I didn't hear anything from her, and everyone started getting worried and tensed. Just because the wedding was held in the human world, no one could just growl and howl angrily.

Why in the human world?

The first reason was the person to whom I was getting married was a human.

The second reason was my relative from my father's side were hunters, so neither did they want to come to the pack, nor inviting them into the pack was a great decision. So, concerning the situation of both the parties, it was decided that the wedding would be held in the human world.

"Hello, Everyone!! Attention, Please!!" I heard my crush speaking on the mic. Hearing him, everyone's attention went to him. "There is a slight change in the wedding which was going to happen.", He said, on which I furrowed my eyebrow, wondering what he was going to say!

I could say that the other's expression was no more different than mine.

"As everyone knew that I was going to get married to Charlotte Cornell Weasley, but...

And there came a BUT in my life.

"...but now I'm getting married to Scarlet Cornell Black."

A lot of gasps could be heard from the people who were coming here to attend the wedding.

This couldn't be happening.

This...this couldn't be happening.

I shook my head.

"What kind of sick joke is this?", My mom shouted at him, on which he shrugged his shoulder before speaking.

"Why don't you ask your other daughter who wants to get married to me?", When he finished speaking, everyone's eyes turned to look at Scarlet. "Scarlet, baby, tell your family members whether you want to marry me or not?"

"I want to. I want to marry him, Aunt Rebecca.", She agreed.

"This won't happen. What does he think of himself? By insulting our one daughter, he will get a chance to marry another daughter. NO WAY. NOT HAPPENING.", Mom announced, taking Scarlet and me from there, but Scarlet didn't move an inch.

"I'm marrying him, Aunt Rebecca. Whether you like it or not, but my decision is final."

"Scarlet..."

"Uncle Oliver, will you stand down the aisle with me?", She asked, looking at my father. I could say that a lot of things just happened here, and everyone's mind was just trying to handle the shock. I reached toward dad and held his hand with a small smile on my lips.

I had no idea why was this happening?

And how all this happened all of a sudden.

But it wouldn't change the fact that Scarlet was my sister from my other mother. And we both would have each other's back. I was sure that she would have her reason for doing so.

Dad nodded his head before speaking, "Is that even a question, Princess?"

I watched Scarlet getting married to my crush in front of my eyes, but I just stood there just like a normal guest.

My life turned upside down in just a few hours.
