Chapter 7: Champions Academy

As usual, they went out to run and exercise the following day, which would be their first day in 'Champions Academy' and they were back home before seven, Rosalinda called up Mia to cheer up.

' Hi, new student ' Mia said and laughed.

' Really? '

' Yeah became that probably what they are gonna call you in your new school '

' You're supposed to cheer me up not mock me and believe me I don't even know what to say if I'm asked to introduce myself '

' Are you suggesting I should kind of help you with that? '

She nodded

' You can't be serious, you know I don't have experience with that '

' Levi would know '

' Are you mocking me? '

' You know, it's of no use talking to you '

' You're right, kind of, if you need help with any other thing, make sure to call me, you never know, I could help '

' Right, I'll hang up now, bye '

' Best wishes, bye '

Rosalinda got out of bed to prepare and in a few minutes, she was done, she wore a jacket and a pair of jeans and finalized it with sneakers and a small backpack with long straps, after dressing up, she looked at herself in the mirror and she was satisfied with her looks right now, she was glad she lost some pounds, she made her way to the living room and saw Levi, he was also ready, the family had breakfast and Stella reminded them they had to go with Felicity.

' I almost forgot, is that even necessary? Rosalinda said.

' Yeah it's not like we don't know the way ' Levi agreed.

' Stop it both of you, there's nothing wrong with going with her, remember you said you'll try being friends with her ' Henry said to Rosalinda.

' Ok, maybe I should ',she said and they continued eating.

' I know I should at least come with you guys but I think we'll be busy at the restaurant ' Stella apologized.

' Don't worry, I'm old enough to take care of her ' Levi said.

' I can also take care of myself, don't worry ' Rosalinda said looking at their parents, they finished eating and went outside, Stella packed one and made one for Felicity but she gave it to Rosalinda to give it to her later hoping they can start being friends from there, shortly after, Felicity came out.

' Good morning ' she said to everyone.

' I heard we'll be going to school together, I hope we get along well ' she said to Rosalinda.

Rosalinda remember she doesn't know what to say if she's asked to introduce herself so she kept it in mind to add ' I hope we get along well ' to the end of whatever she had to say and she smiled.

' Sure ' she answered Felicity.

' Okay, we'll be going now ' Levi said to their parents and they all waved at each other.

' Always be careful ' Henry said.

' We will ' Levi replied and they made their way to the bus station.

Rosalinda was restless as she kept thinking about what she's going to say and finally, she made up her mind and promised to try her best. They reached ' Champions Academy ' and they both had to admit, the school surely is nice.

' I think my heart will jump out of my chest any moment from now ' Rosalinda said.

' Don't worry, I'm here ' Levi said.

' Yeah, you don't have to worry because some of our classmates are actually nice people '

' Some of them, so does that means the majority are not nice ' Rosalinda asked.

' Not really, um, I don't know what to say to that ' Felicity answered.

' Let's go in now, shall we? ' Levi said.

They all went in and Felicity helped them to find their way to the Staff office and she went to class.

...In Felicity's class...

Everyone with their friends, some were chatting while some girls are giggling and some were playing.

' Oh my gosh, Felicity ' Emma shouted as soon as she saw her, she ran over and hug her tightly and Felicity hugged her back. Emma is Felicity's friend. Emma followed her to her seat and she grabbed a in front of Felicity, she moved her face closer to Felicity and asked ' I heard there is a new student coming to our school, have you heard? '

' Oh, she'll be in our class '

' Wait, how did you... ' and then a teacher entered with Rosalinda and everyone stumbled to find their way to their seat.

' Class greet ' the class president said and the class greeted.

' How did you know ' Emma mouthed from her seat and Felicity just looked at her in response.

Rosalinda's heart was pounding seriously, her eyes scanned the classroom and she spotted at least five empty seats, two at the back.

' I hope I won't be sitting at the back ' she thought and looked at Felicity.

' Okay class, I'm glad you're all back safe and sound, um except some of you ' the teacher, Mrs Brooks said, she was their mathematics teacher.

' We have a new student here with us, I'll let her introduce herself ' she added and gestured for her to say what she had to say.

Rosalinda calmed her nerves and cleared her throat.

' Hi, I'm Rosalinda Smith, it's so nice to meet you, I hope we get along well ' she said with confidence and ...

' Why is it so quiet in here, why is anyone not saying anything ' she thought.

Everyone just looked at her and they still deemed her to be fat even though she did lost some pounds and her puffed face was getting slimmer and they just won't say anything.

' Can you at least welcome her? ' the teacher said and they all clapped reluctantly.

' You can go and sit at the back ' she added.

' Oh no ' she mumbled and made her way.

' I think everything is set now, so let's get to work,today,we'll be talking about Algebra...

Suddenly, a boy walked in, he greeted Mrs Brooks and made way to the back.
