Chapter 13: Are they siblings by any chance?

' If the money was with you, why did you come to report it as theft, miss Cooper? ' Mr Martin asked.

Emma went to the staff lounge with Mr Martin after Rosalinda said her bag was yet to be searched.

' I'm so sorry, I should have checked thoroughly before reporting it '.

' Make sure it doesn't repeat itself and be very careful with your money '.

' Thank you sir ' Emma said and went back to class.

Earlier in the bathroom...

' Make sure to put it inside her bag, make sure it's her bag ' Ivy said.

' Don't worry, I'll make sure I do ' Emma replied.

' She's really getting on my nerves, how dare she do that to me, she had the guts to humiliate me like that, I'll make sure she goes back where she belong '

' What if she gets rusticated? '

' Does it looks like I care, are you taking her side now , don't forget who you are to me '

Ivy said and Emma looked down.

Little did they know that Rosalinda heard their conversation, she waited for them to leave and she hurried out afterwards, before anything else, she practically ran to the classroom but she was late, she halted her race at the classroom entrance and saw Emma doing the deed, so she waited for her to come out and she hid her face so Emma thought she made sure no one saw her.

Rosalinda walked silently to the class and true to what she heard, the money was in her bag, she took it out and put it in Emma's bag , then she hurried outside...

Emma went back to class and just as she came in Jade called out to her.

' I'm so relieved you found the money ' she said.

' Thank you '

Rosalinda just looked at her and asked ' Why do you look kind of unhappy when the money has been found? '

' I'm okay, I'm just stressed, that's all 'She replied.

' I'll be in my seat ' Rosalinda said and stood up.

' How is she her puppet, are they siblings by any chance? '

' No, that's crazy ' she shook her head ' that can't be possible '

' She can't be her sibling and treat her like that, more over, even if they are, they can't be in the same grade.

' How come she's like that to her '

Many thoughts ran through her mind.

' Nevertheless, I guess their plan failed ' she smiled to herself...

' I'll be back, I have to go to the bathroom ' Emma said and the rest nodded.

Emma met Ivy in the bathroom, she was leaning on the wall and glared at Emma, before she could say anything, a slap landed on her face and she stood there, stupefied.

' One job, you had one job but you couldn't do it properly ' Ivy fumed and paced around the bathroom.

Emma didn't reply, she just looked down , still shocked.

Ivy stopped and stared at her ' You know what, you're more annoying than her '

' I'm sorry ' Emma managed to say that much.

' Come up with another plan soon '

Emma didn't reply.

' Okay? '

' Yes, I will '

' That's better ' Ivy stormed out of the bathroom and Emma stood on the spot.

Charlie looked at Rosalinda from his seat, she was busy writing something ' maybe she's studying ' he thought.

He stood up to join her but stopped because Jade beat him to it.

' How did you suggest Mr Martin search Emma's bag? ' Jade asked.

' I just thought if it's not in anyone's bag, it must be in her bag, after all she's the one looking for it ' That's true, you did great, I didn't think of it like that you know?, my mom always say the only innocent one is the person looking for something '

' I don't think she's the innocent one ' she mumbled.

' What did you say? '

' Ah, nothing ' she smiled awkwardly and they continued chatting.

' By the way, I noticed this seat is always empty, is there no one to sit there? ' Rosalinda asked curiously.

' Oh, that's Liam's seat, the sitting arrangement was changed before you came, he's supposed to be sitting in Oliver's seat who's sitting in front of you but I guess it will change when he's back, I'll show him to you when he comes, it's better not to get involved with him, cause he's trouble ' Jade explained.

' I see, I'll keep that in mind ' she replied and they continued to chat.

The rest of the day went by uneventfully and it was time to go home, Rosalinda stood at the entrance and saw Levi and his friends coming towards her and Levi waved at her.

' Hi ' Levi's friends said simultaneously.

' Hi ' she responded.

' This is Mason and Carlos ' Levi introduced them, pointed at them respectively.

' Oh, the new ones '

' Yes '.

' They said they want to know our restaurant, so we'll play games afterwards '

' Okay, let's wait for Felicity ' she said and Felicity came shortly after.

Felicity seems to know Mason and Carlos and they were chatting,Rosalinda and Levi were walking behind them.

' I hope the three of you aren't birds of the same feather ' Rosalinda said.

' What do you mean? '

' I mean, are they also sick of books? '

' They are not so good with books '

' What?, why can't you just grow up?, I mean, I get they are handsome but ... '

' What, you think they are handsome? ' he said sarcastically.

' So what if they are, you should hang out with intelligent ones '

' Why do I feel like you are my older sister? '

' That's because I might grow up faster than you'

' Walk faster, I need to catch up with mum ' Felicity shouted and they obliged.
