Chapter 87: Decocting Medicine

After Xu Fei left, Tang Luo began teaching Chen Han how to make the medicine.

"Brother Luo, my grandma has taken Chinese medicine before; I know how to prepare it."

Chen Han said to Tang Luo.

"Hehe, the way to prepare the Chinese medicine I prescribe is different from others."

"Oh, okay then."

The two of them chatted as they went to the kitchen, where Chen Han found the medicinal pot and washed it.

"Watch carefully, don't mess up the steps."

Tang Luo took out the Chinese herbs and divided a prescription into two small packets according to his instructions.

"Don't you need to soak it first?"

Seeing Tang Luo light the stove and pour one of the packets into the pot, Chen Han curiously asked.

"No need," Tang Luo shook his head, "Put this packet in first, and after it boils, then add the second packet."

"Got it, got it," Chen Han said, nodding her head carefully.

As the medicine simmered, the two sat beside it, having a casual chat while waiting for it to boil.
