Chapter 16 Onboarding

After Han Ruobing gave her instructions, she swiftly hustled Tang Luo out of the office.

She feared that if she let this guy stay any longer, he might give her a heart attack!

Once he was out of the president's office, Tang Luo whistled cheerfully and made his way to the HR department.

Along the way, his eyes lit up with excitement. Those guys weren't kidding—Fanruo Company truly was a haven of beauties!

Just now, he had encountered three or four beauties scoring above eighty, all dressed in OL attire, pleasing to the eyes.

He fought the urge to strike up conversations, reminding himself not to rush and to first complete the onboarding procedures—to officially join the company before anything else!

By then, the entire Fanruo Company would be his playground, and he could do as he pleased.

Thinking about all this, Tang Luo got excited and quickened his pace, worried that Han Ruobing might change her mind.

Upon arriving at HR, Tang Luo went straight to Xu Lei.

Xu Lei had already received a call from Han Ruobing, and now, looking at Tang Luo, her eyes held a curious expression.

Just what was the relationship between this guy and President Han?

Friends?

But President Han's reaction upon seeing him didn't seem to indicate friendship!

Despite Xu Lei's imaginative mind, she dared not entertain the thought that President Han might be this fellow's fiancée!

"Tang Luo, congratulations on passing the final assessment and becoming a member of Fanruo Company."

Though she found it peculiar, Xu Lei was quite pleased that Tang Luo was joining them, since she had a favorable impression of him.

"Hehe, I'll be counting on Sister Xu in the future, and I hope you'll look out for me."

Tang Luo said with a smile.

"Look out for you? You're President Han's bodyguard and driver; I can't cover for you there!"

Tang Luo glanced at Xu Lei and grinned, "It's coverable, totally coverable."

"I'll find someone to help you with the onboarding process now."

"Mmm, thank you so much, Sister Xu. I'll have to treat you to a meal someday."

"Hehe, we'll see."

Xu Lei laughed and picked up the phone on her desk, saying a few words.

Soon, there was a knock at the door, and a girl came in from outside.

Tang Luo turned to look and smiled; it was the beauty who had collected his test paper earlier.

"Manager Xu, you called for me."

"Xiaoyi, you take Tang Luo to complete the joining formalities."

"Okay." The girl nodded and smiled at Tang Luo, "Follow me, please."

"Alright, Sister Xu, I'll head off then."

"Go ahead."

Once outside the manager's office, the girl looked at Tang Luo with admiring eyes, "You're really amazing, Tang Luo, defeating everyone all by yourself!"

"Hehe, it was nothing special, they were just not resilient enough. I only used a third of my strength," Tang Luo said casually, though inside he was quite chuffed—it felt good to be admired by a beautiful girl.

"Wow? Only a third of your strength? That's awesome!" The girl's admiration grew, "Can you teach me a few moves sometime, Tang Luo?"

"Of course no problem, I'll teach you a few self-defense moves so that no wolf dares to mess with you!" Tang Luo readily promised, "By the way, I still don't know your name."

"Master, I'm Xie Xiaoyi!"

The girl was a bit excited as she spoke.

Master?

Was she into role-playing or something?

Tang Luo grinned, but then had a thought and said, "Xiaoyi, calling me 'Master' isn't appropriate in the company. Just call me 'Brother Luo'."

"Oh, okay, Brother Luo!"

Xie Xiaoyi nodded quickly.

Tang Luo was delighted. He had just arrived and had already taken on a female apprentice, and she was a beauty to boot! What a great start!

Soon, Xie Xiaoyi had completed Tang Luo's onboarding process. He was now officially a member of Fanruo Company!

His file was in the Security Department, but it didn't fall under their jurisdiction. He reported directly to Han Ruobing.

"Oh right, Xiaoyi, what exactly does Fanruo Company do?"

Tang Luo asked, as something occurred to him.

"We mainly deal with jewelry, including raw material procurement, production design, retail, and wholesale! We used to focus on jade and jadeite, but those are less prominent now. We've expanded into other areas, such as gold and silver jewelry, diamonds, platinum, and the like..."

Xie Xiaoyi explained to Tang Luo.

"I see, so does our company have a wide market coverage?"

"Domestically, we can't be considered top-tier yet, we're more second-tier. But President Han has said that within three years, we must break into the top-tier..."

"Oh, I see."

Tang Luo nodded, gaining a better understanding of Fanruo Company.

Half an hour later, he left the HR department and returned to the president's office.

"Ruobing..."

"It's President Han!"

Han Ruobing glared at Tang Luo and said coldly.

"Alright, alright, President Han... I have completed all the onboarding procedures and will officially start work tomorrow."

"Hmm, then you can go now."

Han Ruobing didn't bother with Tang Luo anymore and bent her head to continue working on her documents.

"President Han, it's already time to go off work, aren't you leaving?"

Tang Luo glanced at the time and asked Han Ruobing.

"I'm working overtime today, you can go ahead."

"Oh, okay, then can you give me the keys to the house? I don't have them."

Tang Luo nodded; he was eager to get home and check out his spoils of war.

Han Ruobing frowned slightly but still tossed the keys to him.

"President Han, then I'll be going now."

Once Tang Luo had the keys, he wasted no time and left immediately.

Han Ruobing watched Tang Luo's retreating figure, frowning. She needed to act fast to annul their engagement!

Tang Luo took the elevator directly to the underground parking garage, got into his BMW i8, and left the company, heading toward the villa.

Half an hour later, he arrived back at the villa and parked the car in the yard.

Afterward, he carried his suitcase full of loot from the car, opened the front door, and went inside.

"Hm?"

Tang Luo hadn't gone far when he stopped in his tracks, noticing that the door to the bathroom on the first floor was ajar and there was the sound of water coming from inside.

Who's at home?

Could there be a thief?

Tang Luo set the suitcase down and walked toward the bathroom.

"Sis, why did you come back so early today?"

A girl's voice came from inside.

Tang Luo paused, Han Yuxuan?

"Sis, I forgot to bring a bath towel in with me. Can you get me one from the drying room?"

The voice of Han Yuxuan came again from the bathroom.

Hearing this, Tang Luo looked somewhat bemused.
