Beasts to Beauties: A Mother's Unearthly Gift

In the dark, under a strange-looking tree, a lady around twenty-something could be seen clenching her stomach and looking pitiful. She seemed to be in pain and was breathing heavily. Above her in the sky, the color was very black and blurry. Rain started falling, and the thunder was clapping loudly and violently. The wind was very thick, slapping everything harshly. The lady stood with the support of the tree, using one hand to prop herself against the tree and the other hand to hold her stomach tightly. She breathed out and continued moving weakly. "Seems like I'm not going to escape this. What type of poison is this?" she wondered. She unbuckled her belt to relieve some pain, then sat down somewhere and groaned while her hand wandered around on the wet ground until it made contact with something. She picked it up and saw the object with the help of the lightning. The thing was round like a bead, and something joined them together. She did not care about what it was and just swallowed it. She was going to die anyway, at least she ate something. She could not figure out the taste of the thing, but it was surely not normal because as soon as it made contact with her throat, it felt very hot, as if she had drunk hot water that had not cooled. "Sh*t! Even in death, my luck is still very bad," she muttered. She was still lamenting when her aching stomach suddenly stopped aching. She did not have the chance to rejoice when her stomach started swelling up, getting bigger and bigger. It was as if it wanted to burst but, alas, it didn't. She could feel herself in labor. She groaned until something escaped her body - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. She was relieved from both the poison pain and her swollen stomach pain. Sona became Rich

It was a cheerful morning. OM Entertainment Industry was filled with a crowd; people were coming in and going out just to congratulate the beauty Sona on the successful casting of the movie Lost of Love. Some were even there to see the rumored top beauty, as Sona's fame now matched that of her siblings.

"Miss Santiana, congratulations! I am very happy for you on the success of the casting!" a woman commented with a bright smile on her face.

Sona was in a good mood because she didn't have to dye her hair again; she was now back to her charming blue-green colored hair. She accepted people's praises proudly and arrogantly.

"Miss Santiana, honestly, you are very cool as Jean in the movie Lost of Love. I loved you at first sight, but looking at you in person, you are even more beautiful than Jean," someone praised.

Hearing the comment, Sona's arrogance was even boosted. "Of course I'm cute with my original hair," she replied.

Everyone laughed.

"Miss Santiana really has a golden aura around her. Your acting skills surpass everyone in the entertainment industry. It's an honor for me to act alongside you in the movie," an actress said.

"You flatter me," Sona replied.

Santiana, honestly your acting skills is superb, you surprised me, really surprised me, not only me but the entire OM Entertainment Industry, you really surprised me. As my junior you must celebrate it for your seniors in the industry okay. "A lady in black frame glass commented"

Sona merely cast her a glance and then look away, completely ignoring her. She had sense this lady soul and know that she harbour no good intention towards her, she was too much jealous of her talent . Once jealousy reached a certain stage, it's turns to something else and thus, Sona gave her no chance to interact with her.

The comments and flattery from the people continued until Olivia, Sona's assistant, arrived and somehow managed to drag Sona out of the sea of admirers.

Sona found somewhere to sit and listened to Olivia's report.

"Dear beauty goddess… you have been invited by Cloud Entertainment to join their casting. They agreed to give you any role you desire," Olivia reported, handing a sheet to Sona.

Sona's mouth twitched as she read the content. "I haven't even finished shooting the film background, and there's already an invitation? What a headache," she commented.

Hearing Sona's words, Olivia chuckled lightly. "You are the most beautiful woman on earth. Of course, many entertainment industries will want you to appear in their movies. Besides that, your talent is rare; it's not strange that you attract more than enough attention, It would be rather weird if you attract no attention," she said.

Sona looked at Olivia. "Most beautiful on earth, you say?" She chuckled. "You haven't seen my siblings; that's why you're saying so." though she was proud of her appearance and beauty, she knew that if she stood beside her other siblings, she won't be considered most beautiful on earth even though the most beautiful on earth couldn't be figure out between all of them, their nosebleeding beauty was equal and the most beautiful on earth couldn't be determined unless all of the were chosen.

"Since you are this beautiful, there's no doubt your whole family is a rare beauty family. I am happy to say your mother is the luckiest woman to have such children like you. It's a rare blessing to have you as her daughter," Olivia said, speaking from the bottom of her heart.

Sona's eyes twinkled upon hearing what Olivia said about Emmy, she knew Olivia was speaking what was in her heart. Her smile brightened her beauty to the extent of captivating everyone around her. She was as breathtaking as a sea goddess. "You're being serious?" she looked at Olivia with shining eyes. "Having me as her daughter is the rarest blessing," she murmured to herself, smiling beautifully as if she had found a long-lost treasure.

Olivia found Sona's reaction childish, and her smile widened. "Why are you so happy about my comment?" she asked.

Sona smiled so much that her face turned slightly red. "Your salary is doubled," she commented, instead of replying directly to Olivia's question.

"Really?!" Olivia almost shouted, her happiness evident on her face.

Sona nodded, still in a good mood. "Did you check the story? Is there any dyeing of hair necessary?" she asked.

Olivia was familiar with Sona now and knew that she valued her hair color more than anything. Whenever she was forced to dye her hair during the film shooting, her mood would turn sour, and she often took it out on anyone who dared to disturb her, especially Enward—he had received countless blows from her.

"I talked to the director about this. He said he would fix the hair color changes," she replied.

"That's good. If he fixes it, then accept it on my behalf. But if he insists on dyeing my hair, reject it without question," Sona replied, playing with her beautiful hair.

Olivia smiled and nodded. She really treats me more than just an assistant; it's as if I'm her manager, she thought to herself, looking at Sona with gratitude.

"Oh, your balance has been settled, and it's now with me. Should I put it directly into your account?" Olivia asked.

"Hold it for now," Sona replied, still in a good mood.

"Miss Santiana! Come, it's time for the background and cover shooting," someone shouted from a distance.

Sona stood up. "Do your thing first," she said to Olivia before leaving.

Sona and Enward's pictures were taken for the cover, and everyone participating in the play was photographed along with Sona and Enward for the background. After the shooting ended, The movie was announced as completed, and everyone gathered to celebrate.

"Sweetheart," Enward's voice sounded from behind Sona, stopping her in her tracks and making her rub her forehead in frustration. She didn't turn around and instead found a seat to redo her heels.

"Sweetheart," Enward approached Sona. "There will be an interview for this movie. Which day are you comfortable for it to be held?" he asked.

"The day after tomorrow will be fine," Sona replied emotionlessly without raising her head.
