Rebekah POV
When I woke up, I was mystified. Not only could I feel my bond with Reagan deepening, but also, I was beginning to feel him even though he was not beside me. I touched my neck where the mark dwelt and I felt goosebumps all throughout my skin. I dreaded that feeling and it made me aware of how much connected with Reagan that I was.
But after I blurred that feeling in my mind, rage took over.
How dared he mark me without my permission?
A sharp cry escaped my lips as I remembered how his teeth had felt against my neck. But most importantly, I had felt the creature inside of him.
Honestly speaking, I felt like I couldn't rest until he told me or revealed to me what lycans were. I knew they were superior in agility, in strength, and speed as well, I was inferior. But how come I felt this eerie feeling like there was something I was missing.
