Rebekah's POV
"This is the thing about lower subordinates, Luna. Whilst you may think that they are innocent, they are already plotting against you."
"You don't know that." I said firmly.
"Oh, but I do Luna, my instincts are never wrong."
"Even so, are you trying to say that not even a single one of them can ever mean you good?"
"Then let me tell you a story Luna. Once upon a time, I had a maid I treated as a best friend— No, a sister. She was very kind and talented or so I thought, until one day I heard her plotting to kill me with my ex-husband."
I was shaken to my knees.
"But that wasn't all. She stole all of my jewels especially the one I was saving for her wedding."
I swallowed nervously, thrilled by the story.
