THE TEA

Alayah, Rosie, and Denzel were going towards the car, when Alayah saw Luna coming towards her, "Hey, you came back early", Alayah said.

"Yes, where are you guys going? Can I join you?" Luna asked.

"No, Denzel is just going to drop me", Alayah said.

"Okay, sister do one thing take my phone with you, Elin and I kept on calling you but when you didn't answer we got worried, I know the condition of your phone is critical", Luna said and gave Alayah her phone.

"Thank you", Alayah said.

AT AARON'S HOUSE:

Alayah put the phone aside, and started preparing the lunch, once she was done, she cleaned the countertop and left.

AT ALAYAH'S HOUSE:

In the evening she came back home, "Alayah we kept on calling you, why did not you pick it up?" Elin asked.

"Oh, I am so sorry, I think the phone was muted," she said and checked the bag but there was no phone.

"Sister, I called you a hundred times, why did not you pick it up?" Luna asked soon after entering the living room.

"The phone is not in the bag, oh no I forgot it," she said, and wore her joggers and left to take the phone.

"Poor girl", Elin said.

AT AARON'S HOUSE:

Aaron was preparing coffee in the kitchen when Alayah entered.

"Alayah?" he asked with a shocked face.

"Good Evening Mr. Aaron, I just forgot my phone, and came here to take it", Alayah said and rushed towards her phone.

"I am leaving now", she said and headed towards the main gate.

"Alayah, would you like to drink tea?" Aaron asked politely.

"You will make it?" Alayah asked.

"Of course", Aaron said.

"Then I would love to taste it", Alayah said.

Aaron prepared the tea, and they went outside in the lawn, Aaron sat on the table and Alayah was just standing near him, she was holding the hot cup of tea.

"It is not a strong tea, you can drink it and still fall asleep easily, it will not wake you up till late", Aaron said and put his cup on the table.

"I do sleep early, no matter how strong a tea is," Alayah replied.

"How's Harry?" she asked.

"He is good, don't worry we will take him home soon, that Grendel came to the office with his wife, and called me partner, which was unbearable", Aaron said.

"Mrs. Grendel is Harry's aunt, there is no need to worry about it", Alayah said.

"You might burn your hand, the tea is hot, give it to me", Aaron said and tried to take the cup from Alayah's hand, his fingers touched Alayah's hands and she got confused and the cup was about to fall from her hands but Aaron held the cup.

"She is just pretending to be a very lovely aunt, I know what she actually wants, she is just a poppet, and do what Grendel says", Aaron said.

"There is a Japanese proverb, it says that instead of being afraid of black stones in rice, we should afraid of white stones", she said.

"It is absolutely right, why do you like Japanese culture so much?" he asked.

"I am impressed by the way they carry their traditions with them, they are hard-working, their harmony, and of course their cleanliness, the main reason is their cuisines, they are so different and unique, for example, sushi, sashimi, yakitori, and how could I forgot tempura, I am sorry, I just get so excited with I talk about something I love", Alayah said.

"It is fine to be passionate about something", Aaron said.

"What? Did you just appreciate me? I just can't believe, I should celebrate it," Alayah said.

"Your tea is getting cold", Aaron reminded her.

"Which was my cup?" Alayah asked and looked at the cups placed on the table. While looking at the cups, she was very close to Aaron, Aaron kept on looking at her, "Which one is mine?" Alayah asked.

"Look at the moon", Aaron whispered.

"See how beautiful it is", Aaron said. Alayah started looking at the moon, then she looked at Aaron, who was looking at her instead of the moon.

They both were looking at each other when Alayah's phone rang, "Mrs. Grendel is calling me at this hour", she said and picked up the phone.

"What? Why Harry is crying? Where are you? okay, I am coming", she disconnected the call.

"What happened to Harry?" Aaron asked worriedly.

"He is in hospital, he fell down, Mrs. Grendel gave me the address, Harry wants me to be with him", Alayah said.

"This happens when we let Grendel to take care of a child", Aaron shouted they walked towards the garage, sat in the car and Aaron drove towards the hospital.

AT THE HOSPITAL:

They entered into the room, and the doctor was checking Harry's leg, he was moving it up and down, "Does it hurt?" the doctor asked, Mrs. Grendel was sitting on the sofa nearby.

"Harry, how are you", Alayah asked soon after entering the room, and, she sat near Harry's pillow and Harry hugged her immediately.

"Harry my dear, how did it happen? are you alright", Aaron asked and started looking at his leg.

"Uncle, your little monster is absolutely fine," Harry said. Aaron looked at him with a smile and then stared at Mrs. Grendel.

"How did this happen?" he asked in a serious tone.

"Call it a blind accident", Mrs. Grendel said carelessly.

"I asked, how did this happen?" Aaron shouted.

"He was playing and then fell down", she replied.

"Do you think I am mad or something? You just know how to take custody, do know how to take care of a child too", Aaron said.

"Let me explain, he was playing in his room and there are two or three stairs, and he fell from them, when I entered the room, he was on the floor, he did not get any serious problem, he was just calling Alayah, that is why I called her", Mrs. Grendel said.

"You left Harry alone? where the hell were you?" Aaron shouted and Harry was about to cry.

"Can't you guys go outside?" Alayah said.
