Reaching the Nanatsu Islands

Jayr POV - Blue Star, Grand Line, Paradise - 20 GAP

I move my gaze between the stunned Koby and the surprised Hajime, while also looking at everyone else and see that most look confused by Hajime's reaction, only Kaori and Shizuku, the two girls who discreetly looked up at Hajime's hobby so that they could get closer to him, look just as surprised as him.

At the same time, I let out an internal groan while realizing, 'That's right! I forgot to tell Koby and the others about the coming of the people from the Arifureta Universe and the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Universe! Well, it is my fault in the end, as I always delay this kind of discussion. I kinda didn't want to once again explain to the friends I made during the various adventures my origin and the multiverse theory, it is way too much of a chore. But I find it even more hateful to lie to them, so it is time to finally come out clean, at the very least Koby deserves the truth.' 

I clap my hands to bring everyone's attention to me, and then I say, "Sorry about that, Koby. I forgot to warn you about this. These are my close friends who came to visit me. And I know that you have many questions, especially how did they arrived here, and I will answer all of them, but before that, can you please tell, Nikita, Vivi, and Igaram to come here? I want to explain this to everyone present."

Hearing that, Koby unconsciously nods and once again rushes inside the Athena's God Bidoof, at the same time, I start to materialize a table big enough and enough chairs on the deck using my Spiral Cosmo to allow everyone to sit comfortably.

Meanwhile, I also started to think about how to start the discussion, and what to say and what not to say, 'Ahh~ What a pain! Maybe I should prepare an informative video that will do so in my place, one that answers the most frequently asked questions and that gives a brief introduction to the Omniverse. I could give it a simple name like "Omniverse for Dummies", "Omniverse 101" or even "Basic Guide to the Omniverse", all of them could work just fine.'

While thinking that, I also take this time to fully introduce Bidi to everyone, and Lordgenome, Hajime, and Oscar appear the most intrigued by her peculiar existence as they quickly start to ask me various questions about her, while the girls mostly gush over her cute appearance.

After some time, Koby returns with a confused Vivi and Igaram, whose confusion turns into shock as they see all the people from the Arifureta and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Universes, but before they can ask anything, I invite them to sit on any chair available and start to slowly introduce everyone.

Strangely when I introduced Koby as my disciple, Kamina, Lordgenome, Freid, Oscar, Meiru, Miledi, Vandree, and Lyutillis all looked at him with eyes full of concern and pity, and quickly started to give him some encouraging words, like, "You can do it.", "Don't give up.", "I'll pray for your soul.", "I hope you'll survive through the end.", "It was nice knowing you.", which makes me ask them just what kind of sadistic monster they think I am, but in response, they all narrow their eyes and stare at me with a gaze that says, "You know exactly what we mean!"

Then, I start to explain to them everything, about my true origin, about the Omniverse, about the adventures I had and the battles I went through in the other different universes, about the Battle Across the Omniverse, the other Champions, about the fact that some universe is known to others in the form of stories or legends which explains our prior knowledge of this world, in the end, in almost two hours, I tell them everything they had to know, I just don't tell them some minor details, like the actual power I'm capable of wielding or that I and Saori are actually Gods as I deemed a little too difficult to digest and I also don't want to give them a rough estimate of my capabilities in case one of the other Champions can read minds and memories, an ability way too common in the Omniverse. 

Luckily this time, I also had the help of Nikita who was a former Champion, and of Saori, Seika, Eri, Tio, Lordgenome, Hajime, and everyone else who already went through some similar experiences, and understood what Igaram, Vivi, and Koby are going through. 

Of course, even with all of that, the trio is still shocked silly by the sudden revelation for a few minutes, but then they quickly recover and easily accept everything we just told them.

One of the reasons is that the One Piece Universe is already full of strange, absurd, and mysterious things, so the people of this world have very open minds and can somewhat easily accept such abnormal situations.

The other reason is that it explains things that they weren't able to fully understand before, one such thing is the Athena's God Bidoof herself as she is the most advanced ship they have ever seen before with many features that make no sense at all for them, like the fact that it is way bigger on the inside than on the outside, or even Kharna and Tio's mysterious race which they have never heard of before. 

After that, we all started to enjoy the rest of the day having fun together, most of the girls spent the time on the deck sunbathing, gossiping, and swimming in the water, while Darry, Gimmy, Belta, Kharna, and Galen played with Karoo and Python.

On the other hand, after I made Hajime almost die in envy by showing him Crater Gar in my Soulbound Territory, I offered everyone my handmade mead and we all started to have fun and drink together until, at one point, we started a simple fishing competition divided in several rounds with the bet that the winner would be the first one to catch something and would decide the losers' punishment. 

Of course, to avoid any form of cheating, we decided to just use some simple fishing rods and ban any kind of power.

The first one to win was Igaram, he won 2 times in a row and made us sing some songs, but it wasn't a pleasant experience because most of the guys were horribly tone-deaf, Koby also won once and he let everyone go through one of his usual exercises, of course, we also had to wear the same weighted clothes, which once again made everyone look at him with both pity and a hint of respect, especially since, only Kamina, Lordgenome, Hajime, Freid, Vandre and I had no problem going through it.

After Koby, Oscar also won once and made everyone wear glasses before taking a photo of each one of us and giving it to the girls, something that isn't so bad or unusual for us, but Vandre almost wanted to drown himself in mead after that as his hate for glasses is just as strong as his hate for Ehit.

Following that, Guame made us narrate our most embarrassing moment, which made me hear quite a few funny stories, like Lordgenome chasing after Simon with Lazengann trying to impale Simon's ass with his homing drills for 3 days when he learned that Simon and Nia had sex or the fact that Liliana calls Freid, "Frifri" when they are alone something that I'll make sure to make him regret telling us.

Of course, I also won once, and the only thing that came to my mind was to make them all do a single iconic performance that will be written in the history of this universe in the presence of everyone else present on board, and so, I pulled everyone into my Soulbound Territory and started to show them what they had to do, teach them the correct timings, moves, rhythm, position, and postures.

Of course, the only one that reacted when I started teaching them that was Hajime who yelled, "No, fucking way! Not that! Everything else but that! There is no way that I'll do that thing in front of someone!!".

But in the end, he gave up under the combined effort of peer pressure and the inebriation caused by the mead, so he started to practice with everyone else.

After practicing for a while in secret in my Soulbound Territory, I bring back everyone on the deck and loudly yell, "In position!" catching everyone's attention as the guys line up, even Hajime who lets out a defeated sigh.

Quickly after that, I use my Spiral Cosmo to activate the speakers all over the Athena's God Bidoof, and soon after a piece of upbeat music can be heard all over the ship, which is quickly followed by the lyrics, "♪Vocal percussion on a whole 'nother level coming from my mind! Vocal percussion on a whole 'nother level coming from my mind!♪"

At the same time, Lordgenome fearlessly steps forward and takes his starting pose, his feet are pointing outward, his knees are also slightly bent and point outward, his left hand is covering his crotch while his left shoulder is slightly raised, his right arm to side ready to flip his wrist.

Soon the music continues, "♪Aaaaaahh! I want Golden Wind! (Kono me amareri maroreri merare maro)♪" and Lordgenome starts to slowly move to the right while he opens and closes his legs and flips his right hand to the rhythm, then he stops and spreads both his arms forward with his hands relaxed pointing at the ground, and his head bends back looking at the sky, after that, he quickly bends his upper body a little forward while crossing his arms. 

The music goes on, "♪Aaaaaaahh! I want Golden Wind! (Kono me amareri maroreri merare maro)♪" and Lordgenome does a slight twirl on his place and restarts the beginning, but this time the position of the hands, knees, and shoulder are inversed as he moves toward the left, at the same time, Kamina, Kittan, Simon, and Hajime joins him following his exact movements.

This time after doing the pose with their arms spread forward and their head bent back looking at the sky, they all put their hands on their waist, and with their legs spread wide and their knees pointing outward, they all start to swing their hips as all the other guys join them and the sun in the sky brightly shines on them which brings a tear to my eyes seeing their bravery and perfect coordination, 'They really did it! This is a perfect Torture Dance!! They didn't miss anything and are following the sounds of the Gangstar Torture Dance to perfection.

At the same time, I don't hesitate any more and decide to join them, and so, the music goes on as we all repeat the moves with perfect timing while the kids and the girls quickly cheer after us as we continue the Torture Dance, "♪It's like a burning sunrise! (Ahi makareru makare punpun kete) It's like a burning sunset! (Kono me amareri maroreri merare maro) It's like a burning sunrise! (Ahi makareru makare punpun kete) It's like a burning sunset!♪"

At the end of the dance everyone claps and cheers for us who were able to complete such a great achievement, even Hajime has manly tears falling from his eyes as he mutters, "What did I do...? Kaori and Shizune will never stop making fun of me now..." but I ignore what his mouth says as he is the one who showed the most passion and commitment during the whole dance, in fact, he was the only one who already knew all the steps of the dance in advance as expected of my fellow Man of Culture. 

At the same time, I notice that even Freid, Oscar, and Vandre show a somewhat dejected expression as if they have lost something important that will never return, but it is more probable that they are just tired from practicing until now and dancing under the burning sun of the Grand Line.

On the other hand, the people from the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann are clearly having fun with most of them laughing and joking, even Lordgenome and Guame have slight smiles on their faces trying to hide the fact that they had fun doing the Torture Dance.

Even Koby, who is now sitting on the floor of the dack exhausted comments, "That was harder than expected, but it was also very fun... It is the first time I did something like this." followed by Igaram who nods and says, "Ma~ ma~ ma~! That's right that is a quite peculiar and strange dance, but it was also very fun... I felt connected to everyone like never before... Maybe I'll teach it to the Royal Guards back in Arabasta to train their cooperation and coordination skills, this could bring up some unexpected but interesting results..." 

After that epic performance, we continue to spend the rest of the day simply having fun and relaxing, then when the sky darkens as the sun sets behind the horizon, and in its place the moon with its soft light rises in the sky taking the sun's place, it is time for them to return back to their universes as they still have a lot of things to take care of back in their homes.

So we are all back to my Soulbound Territory, right in front of the Seeds of Culture as I and my family say our goodbyes to our friends and thank them for the fantastic day we spent together, of course they also thank us as they also had a lot of fun too, and after promising to do something like this again.

After that, I wish them nothing but the best and connect to the Seeds of Culture sending them all back to their homes in the Arifureta and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Universes, then we also retire to our rooms in the Athena's God Bidoof to rest for this night as tomorrow we will finally reach our destination, the Nanatsu Islands.

Jayr POV - Blue Star, Grand Line, Nanatsu Island - 20 GAP 

We are all standing on the bridge of the Athena's God Bidoof watching as we get closer and closer to the Nanatsu Islands, and just like Igaram told us the Nanatsu Islands are a tropical archipelago composed of six islands of varying size, those six islands form the shape of a ring with a large empty region of sea in the middle.

At the same time, I can't help but notice that as we get closer and closer to the Nanatsu Islands, the more chaotic the situation on these islands appears to be, as my senses pick up a lot of tension, fear, anger, and a whole stew of other negative emotions, it seems that all the islands are under some kind of attack.

I also notice that the closer we get to the islands, the more nervous and tense Nikita becomes, so much so that I decide to try and reassure her, so, I put my hand on her shoulder and say, "Don't worry, Nikita. Everything will be fine, and don't forget that we are all here for you if you need some support or help."

Hearing that, Nikita takes a deep breath, and then she simply and sincerely says, "Thanks, Jayr. For everything, you didn't have to go to such lengths to help someone like me, someone who was your enemy, you could have easily ignored me and continued with your own matters, but no, you still decided to tend your hand and help me, not only that, but you and your family welcomed me and treated me like one of your own, and I'm really grateful for that."

Then with a wry smile she adds, "I thought that things like this only happened in animes, I would have never thought that I would experience it myself in person... but it isn't so bad or cringy..."

Hearing that I smirk and say, "Come on, I already told you before, look at these muscles, look at these hair... I am an anime character! Such things are already expected from me, and now that you are part of our group, you too. Wait for a little more, and I'm sure that soon you will experience your first Power of Friendship Power Up."

At this point, Nikita starts to laugh out loud and says, "No God no, please no! I always hated when the protagonist got an upgrade out of nowhere with no sense or reason whatsoever just because he or she had friends..." but I shake my head and say, "It isn't that bad... sure there places that truly weaponize such moments, like in Fairy Tail where the strength of a wizard's magic is tied to the strength of their feelings, and so the members of the titular guild gain a huge boost of magical adrenaline due to how strongly they feel about their Companions and Friends, namely seeing them getting hurt, pulling out powers up after powers up... But it feels incredibly good when you pull it off yourself..." 

While we continue to joke, the Athena's God Bidoof continues to move forward, heading directly for the closest island of this archipelago, which is the island in the north, by far the smallest island among the other six, but even with its small size compared to the other 5 islands, this island still has large mountains, and a flora that consists of mostly tropical plants such as palm trees, I also notice a small village built near the beachy shores of the island.

The buildings erected in that village mainly consist of wooden stilt houses, and it is clear that the people living here mainly practice agriculture and fishing as their main sources of food, there isn't even a dock built, so it is clear that they don't trade much with the other islands, but I don't know if this is a prerogative of all the Nanatsu Islands or only of this island which is located on the smallest island is considered more remote and rural compared to the others. 

Once the Athena's God Bidoof stops on the shores of this island, I, Koby, and Nikita quickly set foot on the sandy beach and start to head toward the village to learn more about this place and what is going on here, and more importantly, to find out some information about the fellow Champion Zandeer.

But as soon as we walk for a few meters, the road ahead is blocked by a large group of armed people, but strangely most of them look quite old, between their 50s and 60s, especially four of them who are obviously the leaders.

The one standing in front of everyone is a tall, tanned old man with a large nose, a predominant lower lip, short white hair, and a white beard and mustache, he wears blue, fur-lined sleeveless shirt, black slacks, brown boots, a neckerchief, and a blue bandana with a jolly roger on it, he also carries a large axe at his waist.

The old man quickly raises his axe and yells in a stern but threatening tone, "Stop there! Itsu Island doesn't welcome the likes of you! I won't allow you pirates to continue to do as you please on my Nanatsu Island anymore! I won't let you create any more chaos and harm the people who are living here peacefully!"

Right behind there is a slightly tanned old man with slicked-back white hair and a grey, pointed goatee, he has a diamond-shaped face with a pointed chin, squinted eyes, and a downward-pointing nose, with a physical stature similar to someone of a much younger age, he wears a black jacket over a red shirt, black pants, black shoes, a grey headband, and grey sunglasses.

The other old man nods and says, "Hohhohhohho! Ko it seems that age is catching up with you. These guys don't look like pirates to me." 

At this point, another tall, bald man with reddish skin, a large, pointed nose, a square chin, large lips, thin eyes, and an X-shaped scar on the right side of his head steps forward and says, "I agree with Otsu. These kids seem quite harmless to me too."

He has a black goatee. He wears a red leather, sleeveless shirt, red leather gloves, a pair of red goggles around his neck, silver earrings, black pants, black shoes, and grey sunglasses.

Hearing that, the old man called Ko glares at the second old man and says, "Hei, you bastard! How many times do I have to tell you to not judge someone from his appearance! How many times did you get fooled before! Just shut up and let someone actually smart talk." which enrages the old man called Hei and it seem that they are about to start an argument. 

But the tan-skinned, wheelchair-bound old man with round eyes, a large, pointed nose, a brown beard, and a large mouth comes forward, he wears a black, horned hat, a blue and black jacket, a white undershirt, black pants, silver rings, earrings, and red sunglasses.

The wheelchair-bound old man looks at the old man called Hei and says, "Big brother, calm down. This isn't the time for your usual argument with Ko, the Nanatsu Islands are still in grave danger."

Then the wheelchair-bound old man turns his head in our direction and politely says, "Sorry for that younguns. But the current situation is quite tense at the moment, if you could please tell us who are you and the reason why are you guys here, then it will make the situation easier for everyone."

Hearing that, I calmly step forward and with a smile, I start to introduce ourselves, "Well met, my name is Pucci Jayr, you can think of me as an explorer simply traveling around this world enjoying the sights with his family." 

I point at Koby who is cautiously watching the movement of all the men surrounding us and say, "This young man over here with the glasses is called Koby, he is my student and a Journeyman Recruit of the Marines." 

Then I pointed at Nikita and said, "While this lovely lady, is my good friend Nikita, and she is the main reason we are here as she is searching for her lover as they were forced apart for some reasons. We have a good reason to believe that he is currently on one of these six islands, but we aren't sure which one is it. Anyway, we have no interest in harming the people of this island, in fact, we can even help you guys in dealing with this situation, but first..." 

I look at the group of old men, and at the same time, I release a little of my Spiral Cosmo to put some pressure on them so that I can speed up this process a little as clearly we don't have too much time to lose, and with a calm but imposing tone I ask, "Now, who are you guys? And what exactly is happening here?" 

The old men stumble a little under my power and their eyes widen in shock, then they look at each other for a few instants until they reach some kind of agreement.

Then the old man called Ko sighs loudly, steps forward, and says, "My name is Ko, known as Ko the Landslide, and I'm the leader of the Laotour Bandits. These are in order, Otsu the Gentle Breeze, Hei the Flash Flood, and Tei the Light Snow."

Then he looks in the distance and says, "About what is currently happening to the Nanatsu Islands... Well, the situation is quite bad... The Simon Pirates took over Mu Island and for some reason are now luring a massive amount of pirates to the Nanatsu Islands using the rumors of some kind of awesome ancient hidden treasure that can only be found once all six of Treasure Eyes are recovered from the six ruins scattered all over the Nanatsu Islands as a bait."

Ko clenches his fists as he continues to narrate, "And now all these pirates are doing whatever they can to find those damned ruins, moreover they also pillage, raid, and burn down entire villages just for their own amusement, they even started to attack each other like rabid dogs! It's chaos all over the place! The situation became so unbearable that we decided to take action and drive away all these scum!"

At this point, Koby asks, "Excuse me... but by Simon Pirates, you perhaps intend the pirate crew under the lead of Simon "The Divine" one of the Seven Warlords of the Seas?"

Hearing that, I can't help but think, 'Simon "The Divine", huh? Could it be that the other Champion is also here? If so, what kind of shitty situation is this!? Now I have to worry about what two possible hostile Champions can do, instead of worrying about only Nikita's friend.'

Otsu standing beside Ko nods and says, "That's right! That bastard is the one behind all this!! How could he do something like this to these peaceful islands is beyond me." 

But Ko shakes his head and says, "It isn't like we have any right to judge him... We still are bandits ourselves, but there are some lines that can't be crossed! And now he has to pay for all the pain he has caused! I have to stop him, even if it is the last thing I do in this life..."

At this point, Ko suddenly confesses, "After all, some of the fault of everything that is happening here also falls on my shoulders..."
