After introducing themselves to each other Knox who didn't bring his backpack could only pretend to reach in his jacket pocket and took out anti-biotics and fever reliever and hand it over to Ava.

Knox was too rushed and realized this too alas did his power keep him from thinking safely?

He was too curious seeing a new version of dot show that he forgot to bring a backpack on him if it was a more insightful enemy or too many for him to handle was here they could notice that since Knox came here by foot and didn't bring any food in him he either stay close in this area or doesn't have any but seeing him clean and well-fed it can only be the former.

Although he has more power than normal people he is not immortal and if this happened again and with an enemy, this time the base of operation would be exposed and might get attacked.

Although they have guns now the people are too few.

In this world where food and resource are the way of life people who have been starved and too many close calls to death and those who just like to be unruly would do anything to get what Knox and his people have.

Seeing Knox who was in a daze for a second Ava thought that this medicine was a scarce resource and by giving it to her it would be a great sacrifice and was ashamed.

Alas, she could only swallow her pride and drank both the medicine with a bottle of water she has.

After Knox thought of these problems he could only put them in the back of his mind and think of many solutions to counter them if they will ever come.

Now is not the time to think of this because Knox notices an increase in the number in which the walkers are coming.

Seeing that Ava was done drinking the medicine Knox took out a box of bullets and hand it to Ava although he just recruited her Knox sees that her dot became green and more color at least not too dim.

In addition, Knox touched all the bullet casings or the lead so if she dare to point it at him within 2.5 acres whichever direction is Knox would take all the bullets into the storage space.

Although Knox wants to give her a sword he got in the pawnshop rather than a bullet but how is he going to explain how he got it he says that he found it laying around in this glass shop?

Either way, Knox gave the bullets to Ava didn't think much of it, and reload her weapon took out 3 clips in her weapon belt and also reload.

After this, they make their way to the base where Morgan and his family is at.

Along the way, Knox who just cleaned his way to the market noticed that there are new walkers.

Usually, after Knox killed walkers new ones would show after a couple of hours but this time it didn't even take 30 minutes to show new ones.

It was the right decision to take the guns today although they didn't get the guns at the gun show they could always come back for it when the horde of walkers leave Atlanta.

And if they would have delayed it another day it would be hard to pass all the horde just to get to the pawnshop.

Knox who was killing his way to the walkers' Ava on the other hand is dumbfounded.

Each walker that got in Knox's way has its head chopped off by half.

Although Knox has slowed his pace to let Ava catch up his speed didn't affect her much and would release one or two walkers in Ava's way.

Ava, on the other hand, knows that Knox is testing her although she is weak right now she could still kill a few walkers and when she was about to use her gun she stopped and use her bat instead.

Knox on the front who saw this when he look back could not help but nod.

Although using a gun is way easier it would attract more walkers instead of reducing them.

After a while, Knox stopped releasing walkers on Ava's way and kill them all because after Ava killed about 9 Walkers she can barely keep up.

At this time suddenly a woman was screaming and when Knox and Ava looked they saw a crazy-looking woman it looks like a meth addict frail and dirty looking like a white female version of E.T.

But her scream didn't do much she was quickly eaten but walkers.

Not long after Knox and Ava finally, reach the base and they could see Morgan efficiently killing the walkers, and occasionally an arrow would fly off the roof Knox who saw this was curious and looked at the roof where he saw Jenny and Duane, Jenny was holding a compound bow where Duane was watching.

Ava who saw Morgan killing the walkers without any problems was amazed, although she could also do that with a gun it is hard to say if she could do it with melee weapons.

Knox who saw this nodded.

Morgan was with him and traveled on foot to reach the pawnshop today he gained first-hand experience killing walkers and for Jenny with the compound bow don't mention it she could hit the walker but it would take her 3 arrows to hit the head.

Knox and Ava make their way to Morgan.

After Morgan got done with the walkers he notice Knox coming over.

Morgan who saw Knox with a policewoman was curious and joked.

"Knox what trouble have you got yourself into that a police shows up"

Knox who heard this could help but smile and chuckled then say.

"Hey she was sent to arrest me because of my overdue taxes those IRS guys don't mess around"

Morgan and Ava heard this laugh.

After seeing Knox Joke around for the first time Morgan who always thought that Knox was a serious guy couldn't help but lighten up.

In this world nowadays it is hard to see people joking around and having a nice day.

After a light conversation, Morgan asked.

"This is?"

"Ah right, this is Ava my recruit let's talk inside"

Knox replied and make his way to the ladder leading to the roof which Morgan and Ava nodded to each other and followed.

After reaching the top Knox saw Jenny and Duane they also follow Knox inside.

They all got inside Knox suddenly smelled something it was nice.

Jenny on the back said.

"While you were gone, I cooked the things you left."

Knox hearing this nodded before he left he found a freezer since this market still has power he put a whole chicken and a few vegetables in them as for the seasoning he put it in the side of the freezer then told Morgan about it.

Knox was really lucky when he first got here not only does this store have all the food in them but is still fresh plus there is still water which is safe because they use an independent water tower.

Now that thinking about it Knox doesn't believe one bit that the system doesn't have anything to do with this he could only ask it after it wakes up there are still 7 days till then.

They all got together and sit in a circle Knox introduce Ava to Jenny and Duane and they all got a plate although Knox got everything in the store he still left some.

Telling stories about how everyone met and what they experienced before the meeting.

It was a rare scene where everyone is happy and at peace in this world.

Also PS: probably another chapter today not sure but for a couple of chapters it will have a time skip not much though on day 59 rick wakes up and go to his house on the bicycle and right now the day is 52.
