Chapter 2: Alpha Blaster

I stood with slight shock as a boy with spiked blond hair and a purple and blue mask wearing a white coat with straps, black fingerless gloves, and purple skinny pants. I silently curse my luck cause this guy was Masquerade and he was an extremely good brawler. Not only that but Bakugan he beats are sent to the Doom Dimension.

"Are you Victor Longwei?" He asks me.

"Why? Do you need him?" I answer trying to play dumb. "Cause if you do I can tell him to come meet you."

"Don't try to play dumb with me Victor, I already know it's you," He tells me. "I want you to work with me."

"How bout no," I tell him. "Besides you could think of a better way than to creepily appear in front of me to ask me that."

"Fine then you leave me no choice Victor!" Masquerade shouts pulling out a Gate Card. "Get ready."

"I already was," I tell him pulling out my own Gate card.

"Field Open!" We say simultaneously as the cards start to glow.

Meanwhile in the Doom Dimension

Petrified Bakugan start to give off small lights that gathered into a cluster. That grows bigger and bigger intil it starts to take the shape of a dragon with three horns, wings separate from its arms, and an arrow-shaped tail. The dragon glows in the color of all six attributes as it begins to roar.

"How do I get out of here, wherever here is?!" It says aggressively.

Back to Victor and Masquerade

I angrily stare at Masquerade as he drops a Doom Card onto the battlefield.

"Bet your wondering what I just did?" He asks. "By me using the Doom Card, when either of us lose a battle we lose the Bakugan we battled with."

"I didn't ask you anything," I tell him calmly. "Let's just battle."

"Agreed," Masquerade simply says. "I want to hurry up and see your face when you lose anyway."

"Gate Card set!" We yell.

"I going first," I declare pulling out a blue and light blue Bakugan. "Bakugan brawl, Bakugan stand."

My Bakugan landed on my Gate Card and glowed with a blue light to reveal an Aquos Laserman.

"Aquos Laserman 450Gs," My Bakupod told me.

"Good choice," Masquerade tells me pullingout another gate card. "Gate card set! Bakugan brawl, Bakugan stand!"

The gate card landed besides mine and his Bakugan landed on the first card he threw out. His Bakugan glows with a purple light and turned into a giant black and purple praying mantis.

"Darkus Mantis 390Gs," The Bakupod says.

'I'm gonna have to worry about Mantis's Marionette ability,' I think to myself. "Gate Card set! Bakugan brawl, Bakugan stand!"

I throw my Gate card underneath my first Gate card. My Bakugan landed on the card I just threw out revealing a giant blue turtle-like monster.

"Aquos Juggernoid 330Gs."

"You can't avoid battle forever Victor," Masquerade tells me. "Ability Card activate! Marionette."

Masquerade's Mantis releases purple tendrils that wrapped around my Juggernoid and pulled it to the same Gate card as the Mantis.

"I wasn't, I just wanted you to use Marionette early, idiot," I tell him with a slight smile. "Ability Card activate! Dive Mirage!"

My Juggernoid sinks into the ground as if it was water and resurfaces on Masquerade's other Gate Card.

'That stopped what ever gate card that was,' I think. "Are you gonna come after me now?"

Masquerade just grows and says, "You'll regret that! Bakugan brawl! Bakugan Stand!"

Masquerade's Bakugan reveals its self to be a giant Centipede that lands on the same card as my Laserman. I slightly shake once seeing this, I really don't like bugs.

"Darkus Centipoid 400Gs."

"Ability Card activate! Spiced Assualt!" Masquerade shouts.

"Darkus Centipoid g-power increased to 500Gs, Aquos Laserman g-power decreased to 350Gs, Aquos Juggernoid g-power decreased to 230Gs."

"And that's not all, Ability Card activate! Chaos of Darkness!" Masquerade yells.

His Centipoid wraps around my Laserman while at the same time his Mantis attacks my Juggernoid with it's claws. Once they did this a black and gray portal opens and pulls my two Bakugan into it.

My eyes widen in shock, it was one thing to see it on T.V. but way~ different for it to happen to you in real life. I start to tear up because Juggernoid was my first Aquos Bakugan. I try to run up and reach it before it went to the portal.

"Juggernoid!" I yell as I reach my arm towards it.

Meanwhile

The multiple colored dragon spots a portal that appeared in the space. In it entered a robotic Bakugan with the attribute of water. As it came through a blue light was sent to the dragon turning it's attribute to water.

"P-please help m-my f-friend," A robotic voice sounds before it becomes petrified.

Just then another Bakugan starts coming through, this time a Bakugan in the shape of a turtle in the same attribute. Just like before a blue light comes from it however it seems to want to fight back against the pull of the portal.

"Hurry and get through, I can't resist much longer," A gentle and elderly voice comes from the turtle.

"Thank you," The dragon says to the turtle. "I promise to help your friend."

It goes through the portal the turtle was holding open. Immediately after it does this the turtle loses it's struggle against the pull of the portal and is yanked inside.

With Victor

As my Juggernoid was being pulled through it began to resist. After a while a Aquos Bakugan is flung to my hand and Juggernoid is fully pulled through. I fall on my knees and stare in shock while clinching my fists.

"Hey, your crushing me!" A gruff aggressive voice.

I release my grip and look at the Bakugan in my hand in shock.

"Y-you can talk?!" I exclaim.

"Yes, I can talk," The Bakugan says. "But right now you need to stand up and fight!"

"But I lost two of my Bakugan that I have ability cards for," I tell him. "And If I use you I don't have ability card for you anyway."

"Are you an idiot?! Look at your cards!" The Bakugan commands.

I look at my ability cards and I see cards for a Bakugan called Leonidas. I quickly put two and two together and realize the Bakugan in my hand name is Leonidas. As in the Bakugan from the Bakugan Battle Brawlers DS game I played in my old world. He also happens to be my favorite Bakugan because of how awesome his character design was.

"Leonidas?" I say calmly as I remember my lost Bakugan. "Well, let's destroy this idiot and show him how we'll be the best."

I took note of the field, there were two Gate Cards left on the field, mine and Masquerade's. I throw Leonidas up, catch him, and throw him.

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan STAND!" I shout.

Leonidas glowed with a blue light as wind flowed past us. Once the light cleared there was a massive dragon with three horns two over his ears and one in the middle of his muzzle. He has three toes on each foot. He has three fingers on each hand. His tail is long and ends in an arrow. He also has three stripes on his shins. He roared as he landed on his two feet.

"Aquos Leonidas 670Gs."

"Your turn Masquerade," I say with a smirk.

"Smile all you can, this changes nothing," Masquerade tells me obvious to my thoughts. "Bakugan Brawl! Fear Ripper Stand!"

His Bakugan lands on the same Gate card as Leonidas. A giant humanoid black and purple monster with giant claws appears in a purple light.

"Darkus Fear Ripper 470 Gs"

"Gate card open! Warlock!" I yell. "Ability card activate! Alpha Blaster!"

"Aquos Leonidas g-power increased to 870Gs"

"Get rid of that thing Leonidas!" I tell him.

Leonidas releases a beam of blue light that blinds me so I use my arm to cover my face. When my vision returns the battlefield and Masquerade were gone. I open my hand and see Leonidas in it.

"What happened?" I ask him.

"I won the battle but, he ended the match before we could do anything," Leonidas answers.

"Well, do you want to be partners then?" I ask. "I can't let that guy get away with destroying my oldest friends."

"I did promise one of them I'll fight by your side," Leonidas tells me.

"Awesome, my name's Victor but my friends call me Vic," I tell him in excitement. "And we're friends now so you call me that to Leo."

"Alright Vic, I am Leonidas as you already know," Leo says. "What's next?"

Due to this question I walk home deep in thought until, "I got it, we'll search for any clue about him and if we don't find him, I know some people who attract trouble."

"Sounds like a plan Vic," Leonidas agrees.

'The game doesn't do him justice, Leonidas is actually a pretty nice guy,' I think as we get to know each other well he gets to know me.
